This kid Eric Meyers is a speedy little back out of Carson, standing at 5'8” and about 155 pounds as a junior. He's got that quick-twitch burst you look for in a scat back—his highlights show him ripping off a 45-yard run against Garfield and a 17-yard touchdown scamper versus Narbonne, hitting holes with explosive acceleration and good elusiveness in open field. Vision seems solid; he reads blocks well and changes direction without losing much speed. Not the biggest guy, so he might get bounced around by bigger linebackers, but he's shifty enough to avoid direct hits. City section news x account says, “he's a borderline FBS talent—could thrive in a D2 program.” I think he could push for Power 5 if he adds some mass and keeps developing his pass-catching out of the backfield. Watch him in space; he's a play maker waiting to happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='2106904' first='Braylen' last='Morgan']'s a compact, versatile athlete at 5'7” and 170 pounds, playing both RB and CB for Birmingham as a junior. Clocked a blazing 4.46 in the 40, which shows in his ability to turn the corner and outrun defenders—his sophomore season highlights reel is full of quick cuts and acceleration through gaps. He's got good vision for finding creases, and his lower body strength lets him break arm tackles despite the size. Multi-positional guy who could project as a slot receiver or return specialist too. Rushed for a touchdown in a key win over Cleveland, showing patience behind his line. Needs to bulk up a bit for college contact, but his speed and agility make him a high-upside prospect—could be a D1 contributor in a spread offense if he keeps stacking productive seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267922' first='Jemari' last='Holt'] brings nice size to the RB position at 6'0” and 185 pounds, making him a true every-down back for King/Drew as a junior. He's an ATH type who lines up at CB too, showing athleticism on both sides. Stats-wise, he's got 31 carries for 289 yards (9.3 avg) and 2 TDs through part of the season, with solid yards after contact—looks like a north-south runner with power to push piles and good balance through hits. Highlights suggest decent speed and agility, but his vision stands out; he sets up blocks well and has that extra gear for longer gains (long of 40). Could add more elusiveness, but the frame has room to grow into a 200-pounder. Solid D2 prospect with FBS potential if he dominates senior year—versatile enough for hybrid roles.

Jeremiah Vessell is an intriguing sophomore prospect at Narbonne, listed around 6'0” and 195 pounds (some say 5'10” 180), playing RB and DE—real two-way threat with a sturdy build. He's got that downhill power running style, breaking tackles and churning legs for extra yards, which screams FBS upside. Roster spots him as a physical back who can handle inside runs and contribute on defense with his strength. No full stats jump out yet, but his frame and multi-positional play suggest high potential—good vision in traffic, solid burst, and agility for his size. I like him a lot; he could be a true FBS guy with development, maybe even Power 5 if he refines his speed and pass protection. Keep an eye on this one; he's got the tools to climb recruiting boards fast.

Joshua Jones is a dual-threat RB/DB at Crenshaw, about 5'10” or so (no exact measurables), in his junior year wearing #6. He's shown toughness plunging over the goal line for TDs in big games like the semifinal against Birmingham, suggesting good power and balance at the point of attack. Highlights indicate quick feet and agility to evade in tight spaces, with vision to hit cutback lanes. Versatile kid who's mentioned in wins over rivals like Dorsey and Washington Prep—could project as a change-of-pace back or slot guy. Needs more bulk for durability, but his speed and instincts make him a solid mid-level college fit, maybe D2 or low FBS. If he stacks yards and stays healthy, he could surprise some scouts.

Moyo Odebunmi is a dynamic junior RB at 5'7” and 155 pounds for Cleveland—small but electric, with game-breaking speed that's earned him Daily News Athlete of the Week honors. Dropped a monster performance: 303 rushing yards on 13 carries (3 TDs), 36 receiving yards (1 TD), and a 99-yard kickoff return TD for 438 all-purpose yards in one game. That's elite vision, burst, and elusiveness—hits holes like lightning, jukes defenders in space, and has home-run speed. Running style is shifty and explosive, perfect for spread systems. Could add weight without losing quickness; projects as a high D2 or low FBS scat back/returner. If he replicates those numbers, colleges will come calling—pure playmaker.

Tru Warrior Casas is a true ATH captain at Fairfax, junior year #1, with rushing stats around 489 yards at 9.4 avg and 8 TDs (plus passing and returns). Plays RB, TE, OLB, even punter—versatile nightmare for defenses. Highlights show him returning kicks and punts for TDs, catching three scores in a game, and powering through for rush TDs. Good size (maybe 6'0” 190? inferred from build), with speed to separate, agility on cuts, and vision to exploit mismatches. Power in his lower half helps break tackles, and his hands make him a receiving threat. Elite return skills boost his stock—could be an FBS hybrid back or safety. Rushed for 274 yards and scored 24 points in league play, showing vision to read blocks and power through arm tackles. Agility shines in his shuttle time, allowing quick cuts. Highlights from freshman year vs. Palisades and Westchester suggest he's tough to bring down one-on-one.
Raul Berdon's a freshman phenom at El Camino Real, #9 RB/LB, leading the team with 321 yards and 3 TDs on 59 carries through six games (about 5.4 avg). Compact build (no exact height/weight, but looks sturdy), with a downhill style that emphasizes power and vision—hits holes hard, keeps legs churning, and has decent burst for extra yards (long runs in the 80s). Versatile on defense too, showing tackling instincts. Agility lets him bounce outside when needed. As a ‘29, he's raw but promising—needs to add size and refine cuts, but his early production suggests D1 trajectory if he progresses. Watch for growth; could be a three-down back with time.

Deanthony Young's a beastly junior at Dorsey, listed 5'11”-6'0” and 205-215 pounds, playing RB, MLB, DE, even QB—true do-it-all athlete with a 11.9 in the 100m. Power running style: lowers his shoulder, breaks tackles with ease, and has the vision to pick through traffic. Strength shines on defense, but as RB, his burst and balance make him tough to stop. No full stats, but highlights suggest agility for his size, with good cuts and acceleration. 3.0 GPA adds to his appeal. Projects as a D2 or low FBS inside runner/linebacker hybrid—add elusiveness, and he could climb. Physical specimen with high upside.
