You Are Athlete Junior Combine New Jersey

We were able to see some very talented players today. Another good time being with the You Are Athlete crew. Let's check out some players who stood out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1272681' first='Justin' last='Merriman']

Merriman is going to be a stud at quarterback. Mark my words about that. He is a player that carries himself on the field with a lot of confidence. Merriman has some great accuracy and a strong arm. He is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound young man from DePaul Catholic with great mechanics in the pocket. This kid was on point today.

Ray Young

Young was an incredible running back who made the trip to New York all the way from Colorado. He is a 2029 player who has amazing feet. That is how he caught our attention from the beginning of the camp. Young is very elusive and has good hands out of the backfield. He also has a very nice build. We hope to see him again in Houston.

Geovanie Iglesias

Iglesias was an impressive edge player who we really like today. He was also doing a good job of playing on the inside. At this point, we cannot say which one he will be, but he does look good at tackle. Iglesias is a player who we feel like does a good job of using his hands, but he is still raw. He is a 2029 prospect from Anne Chestnut.

Isaiah Farrar

Farrar was a good defensive lineman who has great potential. He is a 6-foot-1, 280-pound player who has a good way of getting off of the football. We know that he is still raw, but he showed some great skills in the trenches today. Farrar plays for Oscar Smith. He is a 2029 prospect who will definitely have the chance to pick up some major division one offers.
