We revealed Tuesday the updated Class of 2026 prospect rankings. Here are 10 more New Additions (Part 3):

[player_tooltip player_id='1672433' first='Devin' last='Alba'], Las Cruces: Alba is a returning starter to a senior-dominated secondary for the Bulldawgs in 2025. Last season he had 47 tackles, 3 interceptions and 17 passes defended. So, Alba was very active and always seems to be around the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672549' first='Matheu' last='Alderman'], Eldorado: The oldest of two Alderman brothers playing offensive tackle for Eldorado. Listed at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds. Deadlifts 525 pounds, so he's very strong.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672473' first='Romeo' last='Ellis'], Albuquerque High: Ellis, who made 40 tackles last season as the Bulldogs' free safety, will be one of the leaders of what could be a solid Albuquerque High secondary. The Bulldogs haven't made the playoffs in nearly three decades. Is this the year that streak finally comes to an end?

[player_tooltip player_id='1672402' first='Gabriel' last='Guiterrez'], West Mesa: Guiterrez is one of two returning starters along West Mesa's defensive line. Last season, he had 35 tackles, 5.0 TFL and 4 QB hurries as West Mesa made the Class 6A playoffs. The Mustangs' defensive line could be a difference maker in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1658170' first='Johannes' last='Hernandez'], Cleveland: Hernandez is a returning starter at safety for the Storm's underrated defense. Last season he had 23 tackles, 2 INT and 5 passes defended. The Storm secondary loses multiple major contributors in 2024 but looks to be in good shape for 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672502' first='Izzy' last='Lopez'], Sandia: The Sandia defense could be extremely young in 2025, so the Matadors will be relying heavily on the senior leadership of Lopez to help the newcomers. Lopez was a ballhawk with 49 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2024. He'll likely play free safety, but could line up anywhere due to his experience.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672373' first='Mike' last='Myrideth'], Hobbs: Myrideth had a solid season in 2024 for the Eagles at defensive tackle as he finished with 44 tackles. He and [player_tooltip player_id='1672376' first='Jeremiah' last='Mackey'] (52 tackles, 9.0 TFL) will be a formidable DT duo for Hobbs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672785' first='Donavon' last='Nieto'], Valencia: Valencia won 8 games and reached the Class 4A quarterfinals in 2024. Expectations will be higher in 2025 with Nieto being one of the leaders on the Jaguars defense. He finished third on the team in tackles with 70 along with 5.0 TFL, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 forced fumble. Nieto was usually around the football. Earned First-Team All-District honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672814' first='Simon' last='Rubio'], Carlsbad: Power 4 target [player_tooltip player_id='1248663' first='Colton' last='McKibben'] gets most of the attention given his size, speed, strength and production, but Rubio was very good as well in 2024 with 63 tackles and 9.5 TFL from his OLB spot. Earned Honorable Mention All-District honors. Watch out for Carlsbad in 2025. The Cavemen could be significantly improved.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672794' first='Josh' last='Sanchez'], Miyamura: Sanchez was second on the Patriots in tackles with 70 in 2024, helping them reach the 5A playoffs. He also had 4.5 TFL and 4.0 QB hurries. Miyamura returns its top three tacklers from last season, so the Patriots could be stout on defense this fall.
