Oberpriller is at his best when he is coming downhill from the linebacker position. He has good speed off the edge, allowing him to get around offensive tackles. He uses that speed on special teams as well – evidenced by his blocked punt coming off the edge. Oberpriller also has good vision and anticipation. The Spartans' linebacker is able to find rush lanes but, at the same time, moves well laterally to disrupt plays on the outside.

Edstrom does everything you want from a lead blocker. He does a good job kicking out defenders and taking on defensive ends or outside linebackers. He can slide into the flat and catch the ball. Unlike some blocking backs, the quarterback doesn't need to hit him right between the numbers. He has a good catch radius. The Ponies' runner is physical enough to block between the tackles, springing his runners.

Lewis has great hand-eye coordination and plays the ball well in the air. He is most effective coming across the middle – therefore, he is comfortable catching the ball in traffic. He does not shy away from contact. In the open field, Lewis is tough for defensive backs to take down without some help. Mostly an outside receiver, the Knights' wideout also has solid body control and keeps himself alive to make catches.

Deker plays multiple positions for the Huskies. Whether he gets the ball lined up as a wide receiver or in the backfield, he has excellent vision in the open field. He uses his blockers well and has the speed to go to the house once he is in the clear. His open-field strength is also utilized effectively in the passing game. He has solid hands and is a threat coming out of the backfield. While offense dominates his highlight package, Deker is a solid open-field tackler as a cornerback.

Layeux plays the edge well for the Lightning. He holds the edge and uses his hands well. His hands enable him to get off blocks effectively, allowing him to close down the off-tackle gap. Not just a run defender, Layeux has a great swim move – making him effective coming off the edge in the passing game. He has good power attacking the passer as well and adds solid speed on the defensive line. He can play in a three-point and two-point stance.
