The UW- Eau Claire Futures Exposure Camp brought athletes from all over the great state of Wisconsin as well as athletes from across the river in Minnesota. Any sort of camp is always prime territory to meet and watch new athletes that weren't on our radar originally, and this event was no different. I left the event with a list of athletes who put themselves on my radar with some very impressive showings during the testing portion of the camp. These newcomers are the focus in today's article recapping the event. Coaches, if these athletes are new to you as well I recommend diving into them more for yourselves.

The small school 2027 out of Hurley made his trip to UW- Eau Claire very well worth it. The junior started off his very important camp cycle with a great base of numbers for him to build on going forward. He put up a 4.73 40, 32.5" vertical, 4.44 shuttle, and jumped a pair of 9'5" broad jumps. The junior is also a track athlete for Hurley. While Charles is undersized at 5'7" 145 lbs, he leaves no doubt that he can stand out with his athleticism.

It seems like every time I look into Mondovi I find another athlete that I really like. That is impressive for such a small school and gives me high expectations for the team when the fall rolls around. My newest standout from the team is sophomore Cameron Gruber. The 5'11" 167 lbs '28 ran a 4.77 40, 34.5" vertical, a blazing 7.19 L-Drill, 4.43 shuttle, and a 9'3" broad jump. The RB is someone I will definitely be keeping a close eye on as Cameron and his QB Bode look to create a dominant backfield duo this fall.

We head to Minnesota for our next standout. It is the 5'10" 160 lbs sophomore out of Moorhead. The WR/DB ran a 4.84 40, jumped 33.1" in the vertical and 9'4" in the broad jump, and he ran a 4.66 shuttle time. Also intriguing is the fact that Emmanuel has a 6'2" wingspan. Perfect for playing DB. Geebli capitalized on his first opportunity of 2026 to put on a show.

We stay in Minnesota for our next strong first impression. Champlin Park's [player_tooltip player_id='642679' first='Trace' last='Fitzgerald'] was a name that kept popping up while I was looking through the top numbers. He is an athlete who went across the board with great numbers, leaving no doubt that he has the speed and quick twitch athleticism needed to play at the next level. The junior posted a 4.70 40, 33.6" vertical, 7.21 L-Drill, 4.22 shuttle, and 9' broad jump. No question, Trace is an explosive 2027 to get on campus and to camp this summer. We are sure to see more strong numbers from the MN native.

We go to Chanhassen for our next Minnesota playmaker and standout. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2060368' first='Graham' last='Delger'] checked in at just under 5'11" and 170 lbs. The sophomore was able to run a 4.77 40, 7.47 L-Drill, 4.53 shuttle, and jumped 30.9" and 9'1". The sophomore RB was able to contribute 300+ rushing yards for the varsity in 2025 and is only going to trend upward with the growth and work he is putting in. The athletic profile is taking shape and I'm excited to see the role Graham carves out as a junior.

Altoona's Ryan Kuenkel is new to my radar, but I'm very excited to get to know him game more. The junior plays RB and DL for Altoona, two positions that can rely more on power. However, Ryan posted a great list of athletic numbers to pair with his physical play on the field. Officially, Ryan checked in at 6' 195 lbs with nearly a 6'4" wingspan. The big man also ran a 4.65 40, jumped an elite 37" vertical, hit 7.47 in the L-Drill, 4.5 in the shuttle, and 9'8" in the broad jump. Ryan has built a very explosive lower body. Don't sleep on him.

Blake is an impressive athlete from Anoka, MN. He is a team captain for football and track. He is listed as the #1 pole vaulter in the state of MN. His position breakdown is QB/WR, so you can guess that he brings a certain level of athleticism to the field. Sunday he gave us a glimpse of that level of athleticism. The 2027 ran a 4.75 40, jumped out of the gym with a 38.4" vertical and 9'7" broad, to go along with a 7.25 L-Drill, and 4.44 shuttle. Blake checks the boxes of long speed, change of direction, and acceleration. Don't sleep on the Anoka multi-sport standout.

Another Anoka standout who was able to put on a show on Sunday was 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2081529' first='Maximus' last='Sweet']. The safety was all over the field in 2025 making 44 tackles with 2 TFLs, and a sack. On Sunday Max checked in at 5'9" 175 lbs. He ran a 4.86 40, jumped 34" in the vertical, ran an unreal 7.03 L-Drill and a 4.37 shuttle to go along with a 9'5" broad jump. Those change of direction and agility testing numbers, plus his jumps, show an athlete that is quick and powerful in his lower body. If he can build on these numbers then he will turn some heads this summer. Great start to his final high school offseason.

Marion might be an 8 Man League team, but they were very well represented at the UWEC camp on Sunday. Multiple of them have made these recap articles about the top standouts too. Newest to my radar from the group is freshman Maxwell Wilkening. The 2029 first caught my attention with his 40 yard dashes. I was there while he ran his 4.78 40. Then to see he also jumped out of the gym at 37.1" vertical and 9' broad. He also added a 4.51 shuttle. The freshman is going to be a kid I keep a close eye on after this showing.

We have one more Minnesota native to talk about who made a strong first impression. That is St. Thomas Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='1651666' first='Revis' last='Cooney']. The sophomore is a well built athlete with a well-developed muscular frame. Revis checked in at 5'7" 170 lbs with nearly a 6' wingspan. He ran a 4.86 in the 40, jumped 31.5" in the vert, ran a blistering 7.14 L-Drill, and had a 4.46 shuttle. The explosive sophomore also jumped 9'1" in the broad jump. Revis looked the part and played the part. Keep an eye on him.
