TrainingHAUS Combine: Top Testers OLs, DLs, LBs and DBs/SES MVPs

We move into the trenches and the defensive side of the ball from the TrainingHAUS Combine partnered with the Minnesota Football Coaches Association last Saturday. We scanned every top testing number we could find to name our best of the best in each testing category. With college coaches all having a specific skillset in mind evaluating every position, we gave it everything we got to find their fits by position group. We also dished out more SES MVPs, which is an analytic we use to measure size explosiveness, and speed for each fitting to each position group to determine readiness at the next-level.   Offensive Linemen   Top Bench Press   Benjamin Klein, Jordan 2026 <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16566206/6776f97dc076a3d3ebf5c115">Tape</a>   Benjamin was the top dog in the bench press. The 2026 OG from Jordan bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times at the TrainingHAUS Combine last Saturday in Eagan   Top Veritcal and Broad Jump   [player_tooltip player_id='1294738' first='Jacob' last='Adam'], East Ridge 2027 <a href="https://x.com/jacob_adam7">Twitter</a>   Jacob was a member of my top Hog Mollies report from his live reps at the TrainingHAUS Combine and had the highest vertical jump at 27.5 inches, which was 2.5 inches higher than the next offensive linemen in the OL group.He also was the top offensive linemen in the broad jump as well, with 104 inches (nearly 8'7 feet) which was 4.5 inches more than than the second best OL in the group.   Top Pro Agility   Will Palmer, Eden Prairie 2026   At nearly 6'0 252 pounds, William was the pro agility leader in the offensive line group recording a 4.82 on Saturday. Not bad for an offensive linemen that I couldn't even find tape yet for as a senior bloomer in the making.   Top L-Drill   Griffin Schmiedeberg, St. Croix Lutheran 2026   Griffin is a new name to my radar, that ran a top L-drill time of 7.82 at the TrainingHAUS combine on Saturday.   Top 10-Yard Split in the 40-Yard Dash   [player_tooltip player_id='1294738' first='Jacob' last='Adam'], East Ridge 2027 <a href="https://x.com/jacob_adam7">Twitter</a>   10-Yard splits on a 40-yard dash are the only number I need to see on the offensive line as college coaches evaluate with a similar mindset. Jacob went 1.79 in the 10-yard split on the lasers.   SES OL MVP:   [player_tooltip player_id='1294738' first='Jacob' last='Adam'], East Ridge 2027   Defensive Linemen   Top Bench Press/Vertical Jump   [player_tooltip player_id='1621851' first='Cortez' last='Berry Jr'], Roseville 2026 <a href="https://x.com/CortezBerryJr">Twitter</a>   Cortez was one of my favorite defensive linemen in attendance at the TrainingHAUS Combine on Saturday, and ran away from the field in the bench press benching 225 pounds, 27 times! He also was the top man in the vertical with getting up for 27 inches (2 feet, 3 inches)   Top Broad Jump   Aiden Frost, Eastview 2026 <a href="https://x.com/AidenFrost9916">Twitter</a>   A new name to my radar, is Aiden Frost of Eastview who had the top broad jump on Saturday. He jumped 108.5 inches, which is just over 9 feet. Camarrious ran a 4.44 pro agility on Saturday.   Top 10-Yard Split in the 40-Yard Dash and Top L-Drill   [player_tooltip player_id='1642226' first='James' last='Bolduc'], Minnetonka 2027<a href="https://x.com/JamesBolduc27"> Twitter</a>   James had the best short area burst in the 40 yard dash, as his 10-yard split was a 1.68 as one of two Skippers that cracked my DLreport from the TrainingHAUS Combine. In the L-Drill, James was elite in testing there too, recording the best L-drill in the DL group with a 7.50   Top 40-yard Dash   Thomas Becken, Two Rivers, 2027   The top 40 yard dash in the defensive line group was another new name to my radar, Thomas Becken out of Two Rivers who ran a 5.04 40 yard dash at 6'3 205 pound sophomore.   SES DL MVP:   [player_tooltip player_id='1621851' first='Cortez' last='Berry Jr'], Roseville 2026   Linebackers   Top Bench Press   Tyler Monson, Rush City 2026 <a href="https://x.com/tyler_monson44">Twitter</a>   Another name that caught our attention on Saturday from Rush City, is Tyler Monson in the 2026 class. He bench pressed 225 pounds 12 times on Saturday at the TrainingHAUS Combine.   Top Vertical and Broad Jump   Blake Loughlin, Shakopee 2027 <a href="https://x.com/Bloughlin10">Twitter</a>   The nearly 6'3 200 pound sophomore top took the top spot in the vertical and the broad jump home to Shakopee. Blake vertical jumped 33 inches (2 feet, 9 inches) and recorded a 117.5 inch broad jump (nearly 9'8).   Top Pro Agility   Ahmod Powell, Minneapolis North 2026 <a href="https://x.com/AhmodPowell">Twitter</a>   Another Minneapolis North Polar cracked the top spot during testing in the pro agility in Ahmod Powell in the 2026 class. He ran a 4.42 in the pro, at just over 5'10 205 pounds.   Top L-Drill, 10-yard Split, and 40-yard Dash   Blake Loughlin, Shakopee 2027 <a href="https://x.com/Bloughlin10">Twitter</a>   Blake won three categories for linebackers in testing, taking the top L-drill time as well. He ran a 7.15 in the L-Drill on Saturday at the TrainingHAUS Combine. That's not all either, he had the best 10-yard split amongst the linebackers with a 1.57 and a 4.79 40-yard dash. He benched 185 pounds 11 times.   Top Vertical and Broad Jump   Brady Bohn, Shakopee 2027<a href="https://x.com/Brady_Bohn"> Twitter</a>   Bravo to the Sabers strength and conditioning program, as they added the top defensive back in the vertical and broad jump at the TrainingHAUS Combine on Saturday in 2027 target Brady Bohn. He jumped his vertical 31.5 inches (2 feet, 7.5 inches) and his broad jump went for 111.5 inches (nearly 9'3)   Top Pro Agility   [player_tooltip player_id='1610248' first='Gavin' last='Casey'], Lakeville North 2027 <a href="https://x.com/GavinCasey24">Twitter</a>   Gavin had the top pro agility amongst the defensive backs as the Lakeville North 2027 defensive back ran a 4.25 in the pro agility last Saturday. Top 10-yard Split in the 40-yard Dash   [player_tooltip player_id='1311587' first='Breck' last='Neubauer'], Holy Family Catholic 2026 <a href="https://x.com/breck_neubauer">Twitter</a>   Breck had the fastest burst out of the gates in the 40-yard dash, flashing a 1.64 10-yard as a 2026 defensive back out of Holy Family. Breck just broke a school record in the 200-meter dash on the track, with a whopping 22.2.   Top 40-Yard Dash   Will Otte, Minneapolis Washburn 2026 <a href="https://x.com/wi11_otte">Twitter</a>   The fastest 40-yard dash came from yet another 2026 defensive back out of Minneapolis Washburn in William Otte. This kid crushed it in his last 30 yards (1.77 in the 10-yard split) of his 40 yard dash, running a top time in the DB group at 4.72.
