Gage Scheurn showed up and wasted no time turning heads. He clocked in with one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of the day at 4.53, and that speed translated directly onto the field. He moved with an effortless smoothness that made everything he did look controlled and natural — whether it was gliding through routes or creating separation off the line. He's got great length and uses it well, especially when it comes to making tough, contested catches. What also stood out was how he used his hands early in routes — not in a push-off kind of way, but in a technical, savvy way to create clean releases. That combination of burst, control, and hand fighting helped him win reps all day long. Plenty of coaches were clearly taking notes as he kept stacking quality reps. With his footwork, top-end speed, and sure hands, Gage looks like someone who's on the verge of a breakout year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1643558' first='Trenton' last='Richardson'] might not have been the most physically dominant receiver on the field, but the way he moved in and out of his breaks was flat-out impressive. He was quick, twitchy, and showed excellent burst when getting into his routes — the kind of movement that immediately helps create space. He consistently found ways to get separation and position himself to win reps, even without having to rely on top-end speed. He's still developing the finer points, like using his hands more efficiently at the top of routes and when fighting through contact, but that'll come with more reps and live-game experience. What really stood out was his football IQ — you can tell he's been coached up and takes his craft seriously. There was a clear understanding of route tempo, leverage, and how to set defenders up. Trenton was one of those guys who just quietly kept doing things right throughout the day, and the more you watched, the more you realized how refined his game already is for a young receiver. He's definitely one to keep tabs on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1326130' first='Makai' last='Nelson'] is a player who makes you do a double take the second he steps on the field. With his size and build, he looks like he could be lining up as a defensive end — but then you watch him run routes, and the technical polish starts to show. He's not the fastest or flashiest receiver in terms of pure burst or top-end speed, but he understands how to use his feet to gain leverage and run clean, crisp routes. There's a physical maturity to his game that stands out. He knows how to position his body, win with angles, and use his length to his advantage. His route running was efficient and thoughtful, and even when he wasn't separating with speed, he was creating space with impressive footwork and smart pacing. There's still room for him to grow, especially in terms of explosiveness off the line and short-area quickness. But the foundation is absolutely there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671469' first='Max' last='Wendelschafer'] may not have had the flashiest 40 time, but don't let that fool you; he put together one of the more quietly impressive performances of the day. What stood out most was his twitch and suddenness — he's got that short-area quickness that makes him a headache to cover, especially in the slot. Every time he lined up, he found a way to create space and get open, and that's not something that comes without putting the work in. His routes were clean and deliberate, and while he's not going to consistently burn defenders downfield, he understands how to get them leaning and how to use leverage to win. Once the ball was in the air, his hands were reliable. He didn't just make the easy grabs — he adjusted well to throws and showed he could bring in passes through contact. Max is the kind of player who makes an offense better just by doing the little things right. He's dependable, sharp, and clearly puts time into his craft. At his size, he's built for slot success, and the way he competed out there proved he's more than ready to take on a bigger role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1305251' first='Matthew' last='Hudson'] put together a really nice day out there in the heat, and there's a lot to like about what he brings to the table. He's got great length in his arms, which gives him a naturally wide catch radius and makes him a nice security blanket once the ball is in the air. What really stood out was how well he used his body throughout his routes. He leaned into fakes with his whole frame, which helped him create just enough separation even without blazing speed. His releases were clean and he showed a clear understanding of how to set up defenders. He wasn't just running routes to spots — he was attacking matchups. When the ball came anywhere in his area, he was dependable. Consistency and crisp route-running left a lasting impression. He's a player with a high floor and the potential to be a very dependable contributor at the next level.
