PRZVA Combine Series Top Performing Linebackers

<p>Arguably the most complete position group the linebackers on site Sunday were outstanding. We had numerous candidates for top performers but Robinson's [player_tooltip player_id='1650615' first='Cody' last='Friesz'] was hands down the MVP. A review of our linebacker MVP and Top Performers:</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">MVP</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1650615' first='Cody' last='Friesz'] has a legit argument to be in consideration for the MVP of our overall camp, he was that good! A clear choice for the top performing linebacker, I did not see Friesz loose any reps during the 1v1 battles. If you saw the running backs he had to face you know this was no easy task. He was fluid, tough and dominant, cannot wait to see what he does this fall for Robinson. One of the fastest 40s on the day with a 4.56 time, Friesz saw his name close to the top in every metric. He is 6'1 and 215 lbs. and he was one of the most athletic kids in Charlottesville. Excited to see what his future holds as all the coaches on hand wanted to meet him. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/carljfred/status/1919087303684722919 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Performers</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">I thought if Hayfield's [player_tooltip player_id='1665444' first='Vincent' last='Kamarck'] arrived he would do well and that is exactly what happened. Earning a top performer position, Kamarck had good testing numbers and made a name for himself during the 1v1s. He has excellent hip movement you can tell he has been coached up well by watching his highlights from Saturday. Returning to Hayfield this fall cannot be easy with all the graduates the Hawks had, having this young man back to lead the rebuild is a must. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/VKamarck/status/1868401728497811611 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Top ranked prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1311681' first='Linkin' last='Stevens'] arrived early and was on a mission, another Blue Ridge standout on the day. Stevens is a stud and he looks like a high caliber linebacker that will be playing in the FCS or higher next fall. The young man is an athletic playmaker, really showed tremendous range and footwork during the 1v1s. I knew he would get some reps at tight end and made the most of his work with that group too, what I didn't know is how well he would do in the linebacker room. He continues to impress and had the coaches buzzing. </p>   <p></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1199704' first='Cole' last='Dameron'] really came on as our combine progressed and he had some fantastic reps during the 1vs1 portion. He too will be ranked in our 2028 class and he should be in our top 100 to be honest. Dameron displayed great technique and showed you why he played a ton as a Freshman for Trinity Episcopal. Excited to see where he lines up this fall, wherever he does the kid makes plays!</p>
