2026 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1655345' first='Gage' last='Highsmith'] put on a display at the combine. Clocking in a 4.84 40-yard dash, a 4.53 shuttle, an 8.9 foot broad jump, and a 7.37 3-cone drill shows that he has the movement skills at the position. This was especially evident in his route running, as he was crafty and shifty in and out of his breaks. He was able to break his routes with decisiveness and savviness around his opponent and hook up over the middle for the completion. Highsmith's crafty routing running and excellent short-area burst will be key traits for him to have a stellar senior season out wide.

2027 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1669598' first='DeAnte' last='Echtinaw'] has some physical elements that you desire to tap into at the position. He is 6'2, with some of his key times from the event being his 5.25 40-yard dash, a 4.75 shuttle, and a 7.75 broad jump. He is a long athlete who has a great wingspan that can go up and pluck balls from up in the air. He shows great fundamentals in being able to attack the ball and reel it in for completion. Whether he is used out wide or in line, Echtinaw is a dangerous deep threat that defenses must account for.

2027 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1666464' first='Isaiah' last='Upshaw'] was an electrifying athlete at the event. He proved it with some great numbers like his 4.87 40-yard dash, an 8.11 broad jump, and a 7.81 3-cone drill. He displayed great athletic ability at both defensive back and wide receiver, but especially shined out wide. He has magnificent acceleration and change of direction to change speed and keep defenders on their toes. He has good separation ability and nice natural hands when snagging the ball into his frame. Upshaw is a name to keep your eyes on as he looks to tear up 3A this season at Paradise Honors.

2027 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1329078' first='Mason' last='Walker'] was another two-way threat who made plays at the event. He notched in a 4.81 40-yard dash, a 4.3 shuttle, and a 9.4 foot broad jump. He showed quick reactive athleticism at both the defensive back position, but showed great promise as a wide receiver. He has top-tier ball skills that translate to both sides of the ball, as he can track and snag the ball out of the air with great concentration and timing. Walker will be an intriguing watch in his junior season for how Sunnyslope decides to use his athleticism further.

2028 Wide Reciever [player_tooltip player_id='1326074' first='Jake' last='Nevins'] is another exciting player who has the potential to be a great athlete in his sophomore season. His times included a 4.81 40-yard dash, a 4.82 shuttle, and an 8.3 broad jump. Nevin's route running is already fantastic as he shows excellent awareness for spacing and finding voids in the defense. He is also explosive, as he can high point the ball in the air and then go off to the races towards the endzone when he secures it. Nevins has a huge opportunity in front of him this upcoming season, one he will look to capitalize on.
