2028 Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1667850' first='Bodey' last='Verros'] has tons of traits you like to see at the QB position. Showing off some athletic prowess at the combine, he ran a 5.25 40-yard dash, a 4.84 shuttle, and a 7.7 foot broad jump. He has a good arm for his size, able to throw the ball with good velocity and anticipation. He showed good deep ball accuracy on this throw, displaying precision to hook up with his receiver in the endzone. Verros will be an intriguing watch as he continues to grow at Higley.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1663332' first='Blake' last='Julien'] is ready to light up the field in his senior season. After running a 5.22 40-yard dash, a 4.6 shuttle, and an 8.95 foot broad jump, he was able to really show off what he was capable of in the 1-on-1 drills. He displayed good pocket mobility, able to easily step up and move fluidly around. He is great at planting his foot and driving down on the ball, which helped with his accuracy throughout the day. Julien will be an exciting watch out of Desert Ridge this upcoming season.

A genuine surprise from the combine was 2027 Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='581788' first='Tripp' last='Burke']. Showing off his 4.91 40-yard dash, a 4.69 shuttle, and a 8.65 foot broad jump, he showed that he has the potential to be a scary dual-threat this year. He performed well in throwing drills, demonstrating good ball placement and zip on every throw he delivered. He had impressive moments of placing the ball on the sideline for his receivers, delivering the ball into a condensed window. Burke is a name to keep looking out for as a lethal dual-threat defenses in 4A will have to pay attention to.

2028 Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1327948' first='Valentine' last='Antillon'] Jr. is on the come up to be the next dangerous signal caller to lead Mountain Pointe Pride. He ran a 5.28 40-yard dash, 4.84 shuttle, and a 7.7 foot broad jump. He showed good arm strength and dropped in some impressive deep balls with a nice arc under it. He was decisive with the ball, displaying good pre-snap recognition along solid footwork and timing to make those intermediate throws. He doesn't force the flash but plays with maturity, which is rare at this stage. Antillon will be a name to continue to watch as he progresses his game in his sophomore season.

2027 Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1669657' first='Gabriel' last='Terrell'] Jr. shows that at his compact frame that he can still be a playmaker. Some of his test numbers at the event included a 4.97 40-yard dash, a 4.84 shuttle, and a 7.8 foot broad jump. He has smooth throwing mechanics that make the ball come out beautifully towards his target. He throws with tons of finesse and just the right trajectory to accurately make it to his target. Terrell Jr. will be looking to put up some fireworks in his junior season for Heritage Academy Laveen.
