Early Look: 2028 Future Risers in GA, QBs

Keep an eye on these 2028 QBs in Georgia over the next few years. I am expecting some recruiting buzz to head their way soon, and some will receive major recruiting attention.    Stout, muscled-up frame. Impressive physique muscle-wise for his age. Explosive athlete. Has the short-area quickness to evade pressure and burst through lanes. Flashes the long speed to lift off from defenders. Makes unique off-platform throws. Arm strength is adequate for his age, but he is an explosive athlete who can find more life. Productive as a freshman, already receiving accolades.     Leaner, wiry prospect. Thin frame and long proportions lead me to believe a growth spurt is left in the tank. Good athlete. More of a build-up to speed runner with long strides, but is light enough on his feet to maneuver. Manipulates touch, leverage. and arm angle to make different throws. Quick, clean motion that will get tighter. Several tightrope throws into coverage on tape. Generates "wow" plays. Basketball background.     Tall, linearly built QB. Has plenty of room to add mass. Effortless, easy pop on the ball, which really flashes when he pushes it over the top. Long, natural thrower of the football. Mechanics and footwork are raw. He is generating both drive and distance on the ball with just his arm. Booming potential once everything tightens and his weight catches up. Would consider him in the top group of 2028 QBs in GA regarding arm strength.     Far developed beyond his years physically. Tall, but well filled out. Launches the ball around the yard with the flick of his wrist. Booming trajectory on the deep ball. Operates best when he can stand tall and rocket the ball around, but makes some backyard football plays, too. Willing to run, but wouldn't consider him a scrambler. More of a cloud of dust, get us a yard on 4th and inches runner. Page is tall, but also compact, and has plenty of juice on the ball. Future P4 potential here.     Thinner prospect who still has youthful dimensions. I am expecting a big jump physically in the future. Experience as a varsity starter as a freshman. Long, natural throwing motion. Will hang onto the ball a tick longer to let receivers get open. I like how he spins it outside the numbers when on the move. He has the early experience, now he is just waiting for that extra juice that comes with growth.     Thinly built QB prospect with plenty of physical maturity left in the tank. Has a baseball background, and you can see it with his long delivery. Good hips and turns two efficiently when operating the RPO game. He is best right now on the drive throws, but does loft the deep ball with impressive trajectory. One of the more productive freshman QBs in the state in 2024.     Tall, lean prospect. Impressive mechanics for his age. Looks clean, but still has room to tighten up and get better. Plenty of easy life on the ball. Makes impressive drive throws over the middle of the field. Looks to be next in a long line of impressive Cartersville QBs, even if it's a slower burn until he breaks out on varsity.     One of the more impressive QB prospects from an eye-test and traits perspective at his age. He is tall, but has good mass and holds his weight well. He gets the ball out quickly and can spin it with ease. His mechanics are crisp as well. Halcomb is the prototype, now just has to prove it as a decision maker and gamer. I am expecting him to get at least some run on varsity this fall.
