Bryce Puckett Bryce Puckett 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Cairo | 2028 State GA is a tremendous quarterback talent in the 2028 class in the Peach State and I’m very excited to see what he will do during the showcase this month. His ability to get the ball out and get it down field is really impressive to me. I just know that’s going to stand out at the winter showcase. Looking forward to seeing this guy spin it at our showcase!

Puckett is one of the more underrated guys set to attend the event, and is someone who is viewed in a very high regard. Puckett is excited for the chance to compete and is at his best when he is the underdog. He led Cairo to a solid season and will be one of the highlight guys at the camp. He is a sneaky option to be a fast riser in the 2028 class, and the reason I feel that way is because of his deep ball and his quickness. He is one of the better decision makers in his class and will be one of the top guys in the state when it comes to the vision aspect.

A small-town quarterback who showed impressive arm strength and the ability to push the ball vertically down the field, Puckett was easily one of the top 2028 quarterbacks in South Georgia who showed easy D1-caliber potential this season. One of the more productive sophomore passers in the area, Puckett led his Cairo team to a region championship and has the potential to have a gigantic junior season next fall. If he continues to put on weight and develop as a quarterback, look for Puckett to be tough to stop in 2026. His best football is still way ahead of him and he has a chance to see a big rankings boost in the next 2028 Prep Redzone rankings.

Thinner prospect who still has youthful dimensions. I am expecting a big jump physically in the future. Experience as a varsity starter as a freshman. Long, natural throwing motion. Will hang onto the ball a tick longer to let receivers get open. I like how he spins it outside the numbers when on the move. He has the early experience, now he is just waiting for that extra juice that comes with growth.

A South Georgia quarterback on the rise who showed a lot of promise last season as a freshman, Puckett plays for a run-heavy Cairo team but flashed a big arm, mobility, and the ability to throw on the run. He’s got a strong arm for his age and can make plays with his legs, something that should help him have a big sophomore season next fall as a sophomore. He’s a good athlete, and if he works hard this off-season and can show he can be a safe, consistent passer, Puckett could be one of the better quarterbacks in the area next fall. Look for him to be added to the next 2028 Prep Redzone rankings this spring.
