A two-point, state-semifinal setback to Remsen St. Mary's at the UNI-Dome last season was Bishop Garrigan's lone loss of 2024. With Foersch and more talent returning, the Golden Bears should be formidable again this year. He threw for 16 touchdown against one interception as a junior, adding five more scores on the ground and a pair of two-point conversions. Foertsch also registered eight solo tackles, including one for loss. On his junior highlight video, we witness a quarterback with touch and accuracy. Foertsch throws well on the move and always threatens to pull the ball down and take off. He's a prospect behind center, for sure, but his athleticism make other positions a possibility.

Contributing in all three phases of the game for a 5A playoff team is a tall task, one that Jeter pulled off last season. He caught 14 balls for 174 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, 15 of his 19.0 tackles were solo. Jeter returned six kicks for 151 yards and a score. His junior highlight video opens with him returning the kick to the house. Jeter combines elusiveness and speed on the play. He thrives when given the rock in space, often operating out of the slot and turning short passes into big gains. Jeter also looks promising as a defensive back that can run with receivers or support the run.

A nine-win season for Algona ended in the state quarterfinals last season. Carter was in the middle of the success - literally. He enjoyed a dominating year at center for the Bulldogs. We witness that on display during his junior highlight video. Carter mauls people on the interior of the O-Line, firing off of his snap into the chest of the defender. He drives with his legs and controls the opponent with strong, well-placed hands. Although he thrives in run blocking, his athleticism and agility make him proficient in pass-pro, too.

Hogrefe paced the Mustangs in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches as a junior in 2024. He also collected 29.5 tackles (16 solo) and two interceptions. On 11 punt returns, Hogrefe averaged 19.7 yards, taking one back to the house. His 11th-grade highlight video emphasizes his broad-based skill set. His size and speed at receiver make him a tough match-up, especially in the eight-player game. Hogrefe runs precise routes and makes people miss in space. He's adept at securing the ball in traffic. His versatility and athleticism should be attractive to coaches on the next level.

As a junior last season, Hanson threw for three touchdowns, ran for three more, had a two-point conversion and caught a 16-yard pass. He delivered seven solo tackles as a defensive back. The talents are present for a breakout 2025. Hanson's junior highlight video captures his athleticism and versatility. They shine through with him lining up at receiver, where he runs crisp routes. His speed puts defensive backs on their heels, and he has the size to win contested throws. Hanson's skills also play on defense as a safety/linebacker-type hybrid.

Owens is an intriguing prospect capable of filling different positions on the next level, depending on the scheme. The Bulldog veteran logged seven solo tackles last season with 2.0 tackles for loss. His junior highlight video provides evidence for how he operates. Sometimes giving up size to the bulkier offensive linemen, Owens displays strength and quickness on the defensive front. He tracks the ball well and gets off of blocks. Owens possessions the traits to fill a more traditional linebacker role, and he's an asset on special teams.
