[player_tooltip player_id='1699692' first='Chase' last='Miller'] played a vital role for North Polk's offense last season, earning 2nd-team all-state honors as he paved the way for the Comets to win their first ever state title in 2024. Playing predominantly at Right Tackle, Miller has a quick first step, showing great footwork whether in attacking the defender or stepping outward for a pass-block. Miller does a good job at mirroring his defender's movements, keeping his balance working laterally, and despite his size, he delivers quite a powerful punch on the block. If Miller could build some weight this offseason, he could emerge by the end of the 2025 season as a priority recruiting target during the following offseason.

Anthony Putnam is nearly impossible to miss, as he is just a mammoth of a lineman, and his presence on the trenches helped guide Decorah to their first double-digit winning season since 2013 last season. Starting at Right Tackle for Decorah, it's nearly impossible to get around Putnam once he gets his hands on the defender. Putnam maintains a solid base and a low center of gravity, showing solid hand placement, and is easily able to push off defenders and pancake them to the ground. Putnam's size and skillset might be better suited as an interior offensive-lineman at the next level, but he's a big man who can ball pretty well and make a big impact for his unit.

Another big name from Decorah, Mason Vote earns extra points not just for his bulky frame, but his taller frame as he's clearly a looming presence over defenders. However, Vote spent most of last season on the special teams blocking unit. Vote made the most of his limited reps though, showing a low, balanced stance, getting the first punch on the defender with his length, and using that length and size to gain leverage and keep defenders away from the ball. Vote could very well translate well as a full-time starter on the O-line in 2025, and a strong senior showing could help gain a lot of attention as an underrated name to pursue next offseason.

Benjamin Dothager served as the Left Tackle for Pella last season, playing a vital role in guiding the team to their first double-digit winning record since 2017 as well as a run to the state title game. Dothager is impressively nimble and moves fairly quickly on the line, being able to keep up with speedy edge-rushers trying to beat him outside. Dothager has good technique, keeping his balance even when blocking off-center and shooting his hands at the defender's chest level. Dothager could work on keeping his hands inside of the pads rather than shooting wide, but he's a viable starter on the trenches who's played a big role in Pella's re-emergence as a contender in Class 4A.

Alongside Dothager on Pella's O-line is Jonathan Panknen, who's been a solid presence on the trenches for Pella over the last 2 seasons. Starting at Right Guard, Panknen delivers a good punch off the snap, and he shows solid hand fighting technique against the defenders. Panken moves very well in tight quarters, showing solid footwork and hand placements in pass-blocking, allowing him to maintain a clean pocket for his QB. Panknen could build on his size as an interior-lineman, but Pella will once again have a very strong offensive front to rely on in 2025 with Panknen returning as a veteran presence.

Kaden Timmerman is a bit undersized as a Left Guard, but he's excelled as a suitable pass-blocker, and his efforts helped North Scott finish as the most efficient passing unit in Class 4A, leading the conference in multiple passing categories including yards and touchdowns. Timmerman holds his own, not getting knocked back easily by larger defenders, and he has shown to be able to throw defenders aside pretty well. Also utilized as a pull-blocker in the run game, Timmerman has enough speed and nimble movement to charge the outside lane and open up a hole for his RB. Timmerman could certainly bulk up a bit, and matching his effective blocking with larger size could pay huge dividends going forward not just for him, but for North Scott's offense as well.
