Easily the biggest headline of the month in Louisiana recruiting action, the Opelousas Catholic pass-catcher punctuated April with a nationally notable commitment to USC. Tezeno has been one of the biggest-rising prospects in the state throughout the spring and helped bolster a Trojans class making its case as the best in the country at the moment.

April 30 saw a pair of commitment announcements particularly newsworthy in the Lafayette area — with the local prep standout Tezeno sharing plans to head west, and New Orleans prep standout Dominique sharing a pledge to the Ragin' Cajuns. The St. Augustine defensive end has been ranked by Prep Redzone Louisiana throughout his high school career and potentially adds another solid in-state piece to the class and program.
