Wide Receiver Wednesday: Five Names To Know In Michigan

We've been pounding the pavement in the Great Lakes State recently, attending camps and showcases to see the top prospects shine in Michigan. Here are five receivers we've come across who have every chance to break out this fall.    Speedy slot receiver and safety prospect. Has outstanding ball skills, very loose-hipped, quick in/out of his breaks. Very tough – runs through contact and maintains balance after the catch. Will earn his keep running over the middle of the field.     Caught 12 touchdowns and had 660 total yards last season. Would expect his role to grow as a senior. Solid receiver prospect with good height and top-end after the catch. Not a burner but has above-average breakaway juice to run away from defenders if he finds a crease. Name to know.     Wagner is a solid receiving tight end with good hands over the middle of the field and above-average run-after-the-catch. He is also very smart with a 4.4 GPA. He also has a history of playing DE which is where his college fit might be, but we're evaluating him as a tight end as a high school player. Positional flexibility is a huge plus.     Good run blocker but flashes some good hands and ability to make acrobatic grabs over the middle of the field. Good body adjustment, comes down with the ball, good hands in traffic. Flashes a mean streak in the run game. Could add some bulk.     Under-the-radar receiver who can snag the ball out of the air in traffic. Displays good speed on defense to chase down receivers and running backs who find daylight. Name to know.
