Tuesday Takeover- 2027s Set Up For Huge Junior Seasons

Welcome back to Tuesday Takeovers!   Today we are looking at some of the talented 2027s here instate- you won't want to miss these guys, they've got huge futures ahead. [player_tooltip player_id='1653611' first='MJ' last='Gideon'] is a talented RB out of James Clemens who has established himself as one of the top RBs in his class.   Gideon is explosive with the ball in his hands- he plays with great speed and physicality, has impressive contact balance, and can easily make defenders miss with his elusiveness. I'm really impressed with Gideon's patience with the ball- he waits for rushing lanes/blocks to develop, and when they do, he has the speed and explosiveness to quickly turn upfield for huge gains.   Gideon also produced well in his team's passing attack- he's a productive route runner underneath who has a reliable set of hands he uses to haul in receptions.   Gideon put together one of his best seasons yet last fall, ending his sophomore year with 126 carries for 847 yards and 13 TDs, and 8 receptions for 110 yards.   Gideon has seen his recruitment open up over the last few months, picking up offers from Liberty, Vanderbilt, Missouri, and more.      [player_tooltip player_id='1653616' first='Matthew' last='McIntyre'] is an up-and-coming TE prospect out of Mars Hill who made a ton of huge plays for his offenses last fall.   I'm really impressed with McIntyre's versatility- he's a physical blocker down on the line of scrimmage who can also produce as a pass catcher. McIntyre opens up so many opportunities for his teammates at the line, he explodes off the snap, plays with great strength and leverage, and easily drives back defenders to create wide rushing lanes.   McIntyre is just as productive as a pass catcher- at 6'3 230, he has great size, speed, and twitch he uses to create separation and haul in receptions all over the field. It's really impressive watching how McIntyre uses his size to dominate DBs, he's a physical pass catcher who can bring in impressive catches over the top and through contact   McIntyre has seen his recruitment take off this offseason, picking up offers from Troy and UAB over the last few months.      [player_tooltip player_id='1653623' first='Jaylen' last='Scott'] is a dominant DB/ATH out of Williamson who put together his best season yet last fall.   Scott is a hybrid safety who flies around the field to dominate opposing rushing and passing attacks. He plays with a ton of speed and instincts out in coverage- he isn't easily baited, doesn't let anyone get behind him, and has the ball skills to easily haul in INTs and break up passes.   On top of that, Scott is a dominant run defender- he flies downhill from the secondary to wrap up and take down RBs near the line of scrimmage and in the open field to prevent huge plays. It's really impressive seeing how well-rounded Scott already is as a sophomore, he has an incredibly bright future ahead.   Scott dominated last fall, ending his sophomore year with 107 total tackles (41 solo, 2 for .loss), 4 INTs, 12 PBUs, and one FF   Scott committed to Florida State a few months back, be sure to watch his tape from last season below- he's a talented prospect with a huge junior year ahead!      [player_tooltip player_id='1263893' first='Camaree' last='Gooden'] is a talented DB out of Gardendale who put together a great season in their secondary last fall.   Gooden is a physical outside corner who finds ways to come up with stops against the run and pass nearly every down. Gooden is excellent at quickly identifying and reacting to plays, he consistently puts himself in great position to help his defense make plays. Against the run, Gooden is terrific in pursuit and quickly closes in on RBs to make tackles for little to no gain.   Gooden is even more dominant against the pass- he has a knack for getting his hands on the ball and jarring free passes from WRs. It's seriously impressive watching him in coverage, he's a physical DB who dominates in man-to-man and consistently wears down WRs to make huge plays on the ball.   Gooden made tons of plays last fall, ending his sophomore year with 52 total tackles (32 solo, 3 for loss) and 17 PBUs. [player_tooltip player_id='1137057' first='Corde' last='Jefferson'] is a dynamic ATH prospect out of Dadeville who put together an incredible sophomore season last fall.   Offensively, Jefferson can make huge plays out of the backfield and as a pass catcher- he has great speed, can change his direction effortlessly, and creates explosive plays with the ball in his hands. I'm really impressed with Jeffersons' ability to play through contact, he's not brought down easily and can haul in some impressive contested catches as well.   Defensively, Jefferson is a tackling machine who is terrific at creating turnovers. Jefferson is terrific at tracking and pursuing after the ball carrier- he has great closing speed and can work from sideline to sideline to come up with stops. On top of that, he can deliver huge hits and force fumbles, consistently finding ways to help his offense get back on the field.   Jefferson put up some unreal numbers last fall, ending his sophomore year with 58 carries for 206 yards and 2 TDs on the ground, 13 receptions for 153 yards through the air, and 115 total tackles (70 solo, 13 for loss), 2 sacks, one INT, and 4 forced fumbles.
