He has the ideal size, closing speed and balance for the position and is outstanding both in coverage and when dropping down into the box in run support. He shows he can cover the entire back end, has open field tackling abilities and takes proper angles in space while able to make plays behind the line and apply pressure off the edge. He is smooth in coverage with strong hip fluidity and natural ball skills while breaking quickly to ball carriers. He is quick twitched, can rush the passer and does a good job coming up and setting the edge on the outside as the force. He closes quickly into the backfield, can get underneath or around bigger blockers and explodes through contact at the point of attack. He is a terrific athlete on both sides of the ball that has the ideal size and build for the inside linebacker position at the next level. He's a true thumper inside and recognizes plays quickly, flows well to the ball with closing speed and pass rush abilities and is violent at the point of attack. He shows good hand violence at the POA, can shed blockers with ease without losing ground and has a quick trigger downhill and is seemingly always around the ball. He also flashes he can make plays sideline to sideline and is one of the top players across the state heading into the Fall. He is quick off the ball, shoots his hands quickly inside with a good lockout, and does a nice job setting the edge and countering back inside when needed. Still a raw pass rusher, he replies on initial punch, bend and good backside pursuit to create havoc in the backfield and offers tons of untapped potential at the next level.
