Has the speed to lift off and separate against current level of competition. Fluid in the hips, sinks and snaps well at the top of his routes. Changes direction nicely after the catch, consistently taking advantage of cutback lanes. Thomas is a long, fluid athlete with production on both sides of the ball. Almost built like an RB. Has a basketball background. A good athlete who is best when he can create with his legs and move the pocket. Operates in a variety of different looks. Uses his legs to keep plays alive and has the initial burst to outangle defenders to the corner. Unconventional QB mechanics, but he has some natural life on the ball. Solid mix of playing on and off the ball. Either way, plays fast, violent, and physical. Engages blockers with power and will often run straight through their face and put them on the dirt. He is difficult to move and rallies hard after the football. I would project Izzard best as a pass rusher, where he can translate that tenacity on an every-snap basis. Burned 10.75 in the 100M and 21.63 in the 200M this spring. His speed absolutely translates as he just burns right by his current level of competition with little resistance. For a smaller, thinner receiver, he does an excellent job of making plays in a crowd. Flashes good body control and hands. Wesley makes plays at each level of the field and is an HR threat on every snap.
