Jmere is a slippery runner who can cut on a dime both in the box and in the open field. He presses the line of scrimmage with patience before exploding out of his jump cut into daylight. His excellent feet and vision make him an effective runner on both gap and zone runs. He also has a powerful knee drive that prevents him from getting tripped up when defenders make contact with his legs. Defenders in open space struggle to tackle him because of his twitchiness and ability to shrug off tacklers or spin off contact. Doe-Davis currently holds offers from Mercer, UNC-Charlotte, and Wake Forest.
Highly productive rusher who doubles as a basketball athlete. The definition of a scat-back. Feather-footed, bounce, burst, and speed to lift off when he gets to the third level. Gets involved in creative ways. Can catch it out of the backfield, averaged nearly 20 yards a reception as a junior. Toolsy playmaker who can add some burst and pass-catching upside for D1 programs.
An outstanding do-it-all athlete who can make plays wherever he’s lined up, Doe-Davis is a quick, shifty runner with impressive burst and change of direction. He’s a patient runner who can explode through the line of scrimmage when there’s a hole to run through with enough speed to score anywhere on the field. He ran for an eye-opening 221 yards and 215 yards in the final two games of the season and has the potential to have a true breakout season this upcoming fall as a junior. He also caught 20 passes for 393 yards and four more touchdowns. He’s a back on the rise that people need to know about moving forward.
