Here's what NJ lead Brendan Mankarious had to say in a recent post including Mary Jr.

Hailing from Group I Riverside High School, [player_tooltip player_id='1225963' first='Justin' last='Mary'] is often the best athlete on the field at any given moment. To his credit Mary rushed 112 times for 948 yards and 13 scores, was the Rams' leading receiver with 145 yards on 10 grabs with a score, and made 21 tackles, forced a fumble, and picked off 3 passes during his sophomore season. With the ball in his hands, Mary has a distinct second gear that he hits once he breaks through the line. Disciplined, he follows his blockers rather than running past them, often having to set them up because he is so much faster than them. Mary can often make the first man or two miss, liking to dance in the hole before turning up. Given his athleticism, it is clear to see Mary's dynamic, big play potential. I can easily envision him totally cutting across the gain for huge gainers. As a defender he has the ability to be a ball hawk from the secondary, making long, cross-field picks. He also high points the ball and catches with his hands. I have few bits of feedback for Mary. First is that his film needs to be cut by about 75% to roughly 4 minutes. He should also always highlight where he is on the tape. The next time I watch his film I want to see Mary keep the ball in his outside hand, away from the scuffle, to prioritize its protection. I also hope Mary has a tremendous offseason in the weight room. Adding strength and size to his lower body will lead to bigger, more explosive plays and aid him in churning out tough yardage between the tackles.

Racked up nearly 1,000 yards receiving on nearly 50 receptions. 13 scores, three interceptions, currently ranks as one of the best DBs in all of Pennsylvania. Last three offers come from Penn State, Eastern Michigan, and New Hampshire football.

Here's what I had to say on Eyan Stead nearly two years to date.

Northeast's Kahmir Prescott and Roman Catholic's Eyan Stead share vastly different builds. Kahmir stands at about 6'1, 190 pounds, whereas Stead is hardly touching 5'10, weighing in at a self-listed 160 pounds. I've had the pleasure of watching both prospects live, as well as their tapes. Production might not be comparable, but that's not the point of this piece. When thinking of Prescott's game, the word play-maker leaps into my mind immediately. Elite athleticism, athleticism that demands the football. Prescott has his hands in all aspects of the game, kick/punt return capable, a turnover-capable DB too. Prescott can easily be fed the ball on offense if need be too. He's a premier athlete at Northeast HS.

I see the same future for Eyan Stead at Roman Catholic. Yes, Eyan will set up outside at DB well, he's not going to back down from a single prospect in the state in terms of man coverage. Given his build, I imagine Stead will be used in multiple alignments at DB. I also imagine that Coach Prete will do what he can to feed Stead the ball at WR or RB, as his pure athleticism is too great to leave on the sideline. This larger role might not come this Fall, Stead will have to pay his dues and live with whatever role is provided, yet I can see the styles blending. Stead currently has one offer out of Boston College, whereas Prescott just got done releasing his Top Five about a month ago to the date.

E' mere Atkins boasts an effortless stride for being one of the most explosive players in the state of Ohio for his skill set. Atkins' ability to have speed anywhere on the field as either a running back or receiver make him a guy that can flip the momentum at any moment. As a running back, he shows patience for the play to develop for him to squeeze the most out of each carry. He hits holes with full acceleration then turns the corner with speed not seen in his class. At top speed, he maintains a long stride to make any opening in the defense the potential for points. Has built up a full body to break right through arm tackles or bounce off contact while maintaining good balance. As a receiver, runs tight routes against the defense with good cuts to create separation. Has strong hands to take in balls in traffic while maintaining stride. Doesn't try to get fancy when crossing the middle of the field, but always is looking for an opportunity to get more yardage. Without a doubt Atkins will find himself making an impact for a Division I college program with offers from Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan coming this offseason. As he continues to put in the work this summer, Atkins will be a big stock riser with a solid foundation to build off of.
