The annual workouts provide prospects an initial in-person evaluation for college coaches as they bounce from school to school. Yesterday's workouts in Lafayette featured several top prospects. Who stood out? He is a great pass rusher as a high school prospect. Humble and hardworking with a positive attitude, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver displayed excellent hands, snatching the ball out of the air nicely and winning one-on-one battles. What has been key to his development over the offseason is how much he has revamped his body. He has dropped over 40 pounds and has naturally gotten quicker as a result. A one-time starter at offensive tackle, he now plays defensive tackle (3-technique) where his size can overwhelm opposing guards.
