Bryce VanOstran is a starting wide receiver for Lafayette-Jefferson and the 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver is starting to get the recruiting attention he rightfully deserves. VanOstran has great ball skills and adjustment, making acrobatic catches over opposing corners and winning one-on-one battles. He picked up his first offer from Central Michigan this week.

Vanostran is a fun receiver to watch because of his size and physicality. He’s not afraid to block and use his frame to his advantage. He’s a bully in the redzone and is almost impossible to slow down because he can fight through contact going up for the ball. His 63 grabs for 759 yards and 10 TDs as a sophomore back that up. The length and physicality Vanostran plays with make him an outside receiver who can move the chains with ease.

Bryce is a recruit with major upside especially given his height, frame and arm length. Humble and hardworking with a positive attitude, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver displayed excellent hands, snatching the ball out of the air nicely and winning one-on-one battles. He also displays excellent adjustment high and low to the ball.

I wish I would have found Vanostran sooner, but better late than never. He’s coming from a good sophomore year and should be a focal point for the next 2 years. He’s great down the field and wins his contested catches. He put up 63 grabs for 759 yards and 10 TDs last season.
