After a season where he sidelined due to an ankle injury, the talented [player_tooltip player_id='344093' first='Kobe' last='St. Hilaire'] looks to bounce back in a major way as a junior. Since departing Don Bosco Prep, St. Hilaire now aligns himself with other saints - Saint Joseph Regional to be specific.

In his most recent film we see that St. Hilaire is able to achieve top speed very quickly. He runs with a slight forward lean that will inevitably help him gain cheap and easy yardage in crunch time. I do want to see him protect the ball, pinning it to his chest more frequently, as he bursts through the line. St. Hilaire has shown to be a bit of a weaver when he runs, navigating in-and-out of traffic very smoothly; in addition, he has showcased a stutter step in his arsenal. Lowering his pad level when he runs will allow St. Hilaire the opportunity to make more sudden, devastating breaks when he runs.

A year to watch film, hit the weights, grow, and acclaim numerous track superlatives ought to prime St. Hilaire for the breakout campaign he has been working and praying for.

Entering the playoffs, [player_tooltip player_id='1476912' first='Nick' last='Huliev'] was a prospect we mentioned cuing in on. Furthermore, he had some really nice output early in the season. Today, we take a closer look at his film.

Huliev is really disciplined in running is track and trusting his blockers to open up lanes. He seems to also understand that the fastest way to the end zone is straight forward- meaning that he will only bounce outside when absolutely necessary. Related to this, he does have the speed up the gut to outrun aggressive safeties, while also gaining the edge when needed. Ball security appears to not be a concern, to the naked eye. Although we have not seen Huliev make too many moves, he has shown that he can shake an unblocked defender in the backfield on occasion and barrel over a high-tackling defender in the later levels of a defense. Lastly, Huliev has shown cutback vision once he gains entry into the defense's second level.

I owe [player_tooltip player_id='1662494' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] an apology for not viewing his film sooner. After having just submitted rankings for New Jersey's class of 2026 literally a day ago, Williams will have to wait until the post-season to officially be ranked. That said, his film leads me to believe he will have a more-than-respectable ranking.

On film Williams is an edge player that threatens with speed. His production begins with a very good get off where he can blow by prospects. Williams has the ability to dip, bending under taller prospects to blow past them and closing speed on quarterbacks that are scrambling for their lives. Although I am unsure if it is instinct, practice, or from film, I am positive that he has a great sense for what is happening in front of him, in real-time, as he goes 100 miles per hour. A few examples of this are how when he feels a club to the back, he stops and retraces to play scree, how he will use speed to threaten the inside, only to pin & spin back outside, and forces the quarterback to step up only to spin back and make a play. The rip move is available to him when slanting as well. No doubt an emerging-elite pass rusher, Williams plays the run well too. We see him work to get hands down on a man down and have the eye discipline to read his keys and locate the ball. Later on in his film we see Williams play with his hands above his eyes when defending the run. At moments he shows flashes when he is able to knock back and walk back offensive linemen. I do, however, want to see Williams be more physical when stopping the run, particularly when squeezing; and also work his hands and hips a bit more, particularly when countering, after his initial pass rush move is thwarted - he currently appears to rely on his athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1210986' first='Aidan' last='Romero'] has been a prospect that Clifton Head Coach Ralph Cinque and I have discussed some time ago, maybe as far back as Romero's freshman year. That said, Romero has been a plug-and-play stalwart in the trenches as Clifton has endured personnel changes.

The first thing I see on film is that Romero manages to play with a flat back and his head up. This allows him to really fire out, not up, off the snap of the ball. Additionally, he is asked to pull and appears to rejoice when blocking smaller defenders. His feet are pretty quick as well, as he is able to reach and seal ends, as well as secure speed rushers. In pass protection we see him work his hands up and also chop-to-burry. Run blocking, Romero does a nice job maintaining his base and pumping his feet with short, choppy steps. He will also rip off of defender's hands when he is climbing to the second level. I want to see Romero's bend increase. As a result, his ankles/knees/hips/shoulders will all be vertically aligned and generate a tremendous deal of power.
