Film Room: 2026 Chicago Wide Receivers

During the offseason we will be breaking down the film of all the top prospects from across the state ahead of our massive 2026 rankings update in the upcoming months!  Here is a look at some of the wide receivers in the 2026 class in Film Room: 2026 Chicago Wide Receivers!    Brown is a 5'11" 160 pound playmaker that moved into Mt. Carmel for his senior year after playing at Northrop High School in Indiana. Super slick and slippery with everything that he does. Explosive speed with the ball in his hands being able to take short passes for long gains. Makes contested catches downfield with his burning speed. Very elusive in the open field which includes his work in the return game. Capable player to run gadget plays with!     Conely is one of the top receivers out of Chicago in the 2026 class.  The Simeon junior is a smaller guy at 5'9" and 170 pounds with elite speed!  Absolutely dynamic as a vertical threat on go routes.  Blows past corner in press or off coverage while making catches over his shoulders downfield.  Explosive route runner that tracks it well.  Takes short catches and gets YAC as he is slippery in the open field.  Brings a big time punch in the return game.     Jones is an intriguing 5'9" 155 pound pass catcher.  He is a deep threat that tracks the ball downfield catching it over his shoulder.  Like how he has shake at the top of his route keeping defensive backs off guard constantly setting them up. Slippery with the ball in his hands and doesn't lose stride when catching the ball.  Quality return man as well.     Green is a physical 6'1" and 190 pound possession wide receiver.  He is crisp getting in and out of his cuts.  Very good on comeback routes.  Catches short passes and runs with power.  Snatches ball with his strong hands.     Liggins is a 5'10" slot that can use hesitation to blow past defensive backs.  Very crisp route runner with big time speed.  Doesn't break stride on slant routes at the catch point.  Big time YAC threat that makes catches over the middle.  Good gadget guy especially on jet sweeps.     Osterman is a 6'0" 175 pound deep threat that consistently makes acrobatic catches down the field.  Snatches it over his shoulder on deep passes and is a creative route runner.  Good on comeback routes too.     Davis is a long and lanky 6'4" 195 pound wide receiver from St. Rita.  Long strides and vertical threat.  Like how he boxes out on slant routes and catches naturally with his hands.     Benbow is a 5'11" and 170 pound athletic pass catcher from Kenwood.  He is at his best on gadget plays especially jet sweeps.  He is extremely slippery with the ball in his hands. Has some vertical speed and brings value in the return game.
