This breakdown looks at the top 50 wideouts in Arizona high school football from the 2024 season, comparing yards per catch (efficiency) with catches per game (volume). We're not just talking about speedsters who took one deep ball to the house — we're focused on the guys who were consistently involved and made every target count.

The ones in the upper-right of the chart stood out the most — steady producers who handled a heavy load and still racked up yards. These are the true dynamos: dependable, productive, and built for the spotlight.

[player_tooltip player_id='369023' first='Kemon' last='Jackson'] was a walking touchdown. Out of his 66 catches on the year, 21 of them went for scores — that's one every 3.1 receptions. That's not just a good stat, that's ridiculous. And it wasn't just a late-season surge either — he exploded right out of the gate. In his first three games alone, he put up 20 catches, 476 yards, and 9 touchdowns. That's a full year's work for some guys… and he did it all before the end of September. He's got legit track speed and can pull away from defenders with ease once he hits open space. But it's not just about the speed — he's a tough, competitive receiver who's willing to go up and win those contested catches too. Whether it was a deep shot, a screen, or something over the middle, Jackson turned just about every target into a problem for defenses. He didn't just rack up numbers — he finished drives, flipped field position, and made his touches count.

[player_tooltip player_id='954373' first='Sir' last='Stokes'] wasn't just a part of Yuma Catholic's offense — he was the offense some nights. He scored multiple touchdowns in six different games, including one with three trips to the end zone and five others with two. He averaged nearly 21 yards a catch, and it wasn't just because of blown coverages or wide-open looks. His concentration with the ball in the air is next-level. Whether defenders were glued to him or trying to catch up, he tracked and snagged just about everything thrown his way. And when the ball hits his hands? It's staying there. Stokes has some of the most dependable mitts you'll find at the high school level. He didn't need a ton of touches to make a big impact — just give him a shot, and he made it count.

[player_tooltip player_id='1645439' first='Domonick' last='Ruiz'] was the definition of a big-play guy who also knew how to finish. He found the end zone 11 times on just 46 catches — that's a touchdown every 4.2 grabs. That's not just efficient, that's elite. And it wasn't just front-running either — some of his best games came when things weren't going right for Corona del Sol. He averaged over 18 yards a catch in six different games, proving he could be counted on to stretch the field anytime he was targeted. Ruiz has a great sense for positioning and consistently put himself in spots to come down with the ball, even when defenders had tight coverage. Once he secures the catch, he turns into a tough guy to corral — shifty, agile, and always looking to create extra yards. Whether it was a go route, a comeback, or a scramble drill, Ruiz made plays — and made them count.

Deiondre Whiterock made the most of every opportunity that came his way. Even in tough matchups where the offense as a whole struggled to get going, he still found a way to shine. Against MVHS and Holbrook — both losses — he racked up 151 and 146 yards on 10 and 11 catches. He saw a decent amount of volume — just under six targets per game — and he turned that into over 100 yards a night on average. That kind of efficiency is rare. And when his quarterback did throw more, Whiterock was clearly the guy he trusted. He had two games with double-digit receptions. Whether it was a deep ball or something underneath, he consistently delivered. He's also a standout on the basketball court, which shows in the way he moves — quick feet, body control, and great timing on contested catches. Just a straight-up play-maker who made things happen no matter the circumstances.
