Dominating the Trenches: 2027 Offensive Line Stand Outs Part 1

Last year, he played as a tight end, but he was a glorified offensive tackle because of how much he was used as a blocker. He is moving to offensive tackle next year as well. He is a good run blocker. He has excellent strength, and when he locks onto defenders, he does a good job driving them off the ball. It is impressive to watch him run block. He is excellent on double teams with tackles when they destroy the defensive lineman and drive them back into the linebacker. Halter is an impressive player who has a chance to be a dominant offensive tackle next year. He recently picked up an offer from Rutgers. He played both as a tackle and as a guard last year. At both guard and tackle positions, he does a good job initially firing off the ball, but he needs to get better at finishing blocks. When he does lock onto defenders, it is over for the defender because he has so much natural power to his game. He is strong and uses it well, especially in the run game. He is good as a combo blocker. He double-teamed a defensive tackle and then drove them into the linebacker. He is also excellent at pulling and kicking out defenders. When you watch his film, you see the talent screaming off the film. He is a good athlete who moves well. He played more as a defensive tackle compared to the offensive line, but the way he moves is impressive, as he can fire off the ball well. As a defensive tackle, he gets off the ball well and makes many plays in or near the line of scrimmage. He also showed a motor that never stops. Now, imagine him playing as a guard or tackle, and you can see the talent is there as an offensive lineman as well. Webb has a chance to rise on this list next year because of how talented he is. He is excellent as a pass blocker by moving his feet and staying in front of defenders. As a run blocker, he shows a good ability to combo-block defensive linemen. He can double-team a defensive tackle and a linebacker well.
