Godshall made an immediate impact as a freshman, stuffing the stat sheet with 75 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and two pass breakups. His speed and physicality allow him to close on ball carriers quickly, delivering punishing hits to stop them in their tracks. In coverage, he demonstrates strong vision, reading his keys well and breaking on passes to disrupt the play. His high motor and ability to shed blocks make him a relentless defender in pursuit. If he continues to build on his early success, Godshall has the potential to be one of the top linebackers in his class.     A true two-way player, Tacha made his presence felt on both sides of the ball last season. Defensively, he recorded 74 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles, showcasing his ability to play downhill and shut down the run. His quick reactions and strength allow him to disengage from blockers and make plays near the line of scrimmage. On offense, he was one of the team's top running backs, rushing for 648 yards while also displaying reliable hands with 168 receiving yards. His versatility and physical style of play make him a player to watch closely moving forward.     Banks is a strong open field tackler who consistently brings down ball carriers before they can break into the second level. He finished the season with 49 total tackles, using his speed and aggressive playing style to cover ground sideline to sideline. His ability to shed blocks and track down the ball carrier makes him a reliable presence in the middle of the defense. As he continues to develop, expect Banks to build on his momentum and emerge as a key playmaker for his team this season.     Hoffschneider brings toughness and physicality to the linebacker position, proving his ability to attack downhill and make plays behind the line of scrimmage. He recorded 45 total tackles and eight tackles for loss, consistently shutting down plays before they could gain momentum. What sets him apart is his willingness to mix it up with bigger opponents in the trenches, a rare trait for a young player at the varsity level. With a year of experience under his belt, Hoffschneider is poised to take a significant leap forward and establish himself as one of the top linebackers in the Centennial League.     Rice is an instinctive linebacker who uses his speed and vision to fly around the field and make plays. He finished the season with 44 total tackles and one tackle for loss, showing his ability to disengage from blockers and track down ball carriers. His lateral quickness allows him to cover ground sideline to sideline, while his tackling ability in the open field prevents opponents from gaining chunk yardage. With a full offseason of development, Rice has the potential to become an impact player for his team and a key name to watch in 1A football.
