He displays excellent touch on deep balls and strong velocity on intermediate routes, complemented by smooth mechanics and advanced footwork for his age. His anticipation and decision-making continue to improve, giving him the tools to take command of an offense. Wheir is a poised young quarterback with solid athleticism and a compact delivery. He shows strong awareness in the pocket and does a good job navigating pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. His arm strength allows him to deliver throws to all levels of the field, and his mechanics are clean and consistent. With more reps and continued growth, Wheir could take a big step forward as a junior.
