In one week, Prep RedZone South Carolina will add more than 60 names to our Class of 2027 rankings.

We've had even more time to evalate more of the rising juniors from the coast to the Georgia line, and we've see a whole bunch of them make the most of the offseason. Now, it's their time to become known on a statewide level.

These nine players - one from every offensive and defensive positional grouping - will be among the many who will have a number attached to their names in just seven days.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664638' first='Isaiah' last='Revell'] ATH, Catawba Ridge

Revell spent his sophomore season getting his feet under him, and we understand if his No. 83 felt a bit off while he was mostly playing in the defensive backfield. He put up 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and a pick. He's almost assuredly going to play both sides of the ball for a team that is on the rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664361' first='John' last='Conners'] DL, Greenville

Not once, but twice last last fall, Conners missed significant chunks of time, first for an injury and then again for an illness. But when he was on the field, he displayed a big-time burst. The only knock on him was an occassional bout of overpursuit. We've done this long enough to know it's an problem easily reined in and developed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664498' first='Yachin' last='Gamble'] LB, Crestwood

Gamble packs a wallop into his 5-foot-8, 205-pound frame, and his ability to chase down some top-notch ball carriers last fall helped re-start the next wave of Knights' ownership of this program. He's a weight room junkie with no intentions of stopping. His junior year could be a big one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1659953' first='Markeese' last='Winn'] DB, White Knoll

Winn looks to be the next man up in a Timberwolves' defense that has seemingly found the best way to utilize some insanely talented and versatile players. At 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds, Winn can play safety or corner - where he's slated to start this fall - and eventually he may be moved to an oustside backer spot. Either way production looks inevitable.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664521' first='Zirell' last='McKiver-Barker'] OL, Marlboro County

The 6-foot, 295-pound interior lineman won't enter his junior season with as many established weapons around him as he did last fall, but his chance to stand out even more will greater as some of the younger faces get more playing time. McKiver-Barker is a punishing blocker who can open holes and stave off defensive tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664605' first='Sam' last='Crumpton'] TE, James Island

Crumpton turned one-third of his nine receptions into touchdowns last year, and the same ratio of his receptions went for 25-plus yards. The volume of his targets is something James Island will expand on moving forward. Add that to what he can do in the running game blocking on the edge and the Trojans have a multi-faceted weapon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664350' first='Nick' last='Means'] RB, Dorman

The feast-or-famine Cavaliers' offense of 2024 makes sense when considering some of the turnover. Means is focal point toward stabilizing a much more consistent level of success. He ran for 772 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry while facing off against some stout defenses.

Anthony Williams WR, Fort Dorchester

We don't like to put too much on a player's plate before he's ready. Well, Williams is ready. The Pats' top receiver from last fall hauled in 25 passes for 504 yards by making the most of his quickness and a big catch radius and then separating after the reception. He and new starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1639886' first='Banks' last='Wickersham'] have plans for a big 2025.

Derrick Raniszewksi QB, Hilton Head (pictured)

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Seahawk signal caller let everyone in the Lowcountry know he was there last season by completing 62 percent of his passes for 1,355 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for another four scores. We expect him to become less of game manager and more of a playmaker as this offense takes on even more of his image.
