2027 Rankings: Linebackers Beyond Top 150

They do deserve some attention, and this article is here for it.    Measuring in at 5'9 165-pounds, this sophomore had 33 total tackles (25 solo, 8 assisted), 2 QB hurries, and 1 pass deflection. One thing about Nico, is that his drive is evident. He has very good competitive toughness. He is also helping his teammates finish tackles, or running across the field to make the tackle. Good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. Very good mental processing. Mavromat has good read and reaction time. Good block shedder and good run stopper. He is a very good tackler, stopping the ball carrier in their tracks. I'm excited to see more from Mavromat as he gets more playing time and development!     Dunn measures in at 6'1 170-pounds. He accounted for 21 total tackles (9 solo, 12 assisted), 1.5 TFL, 1 sack, 3 QB hurries, and 1 pass deflection. Dunn has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and jumping. He uses his good mental processing to identify the play, and attack. Dunn is a good block shedder, and solid run stopper. Good competitive toughness to help his teammates finish tackles. He has good strength to stop running backs in their tracks. Excited to see more of Dunn next season.     Fella measures in at 5'10 205 pounds. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, and good acceleration. He has the athletic ability to be a QB spy or out in zone covering tight ends. Fella runs with a head full of steam, and doesn't stop till his target is tackled. He is consistently aware of where the ball is. When there's a fumble, he's there to grab it. Very good mental processing. He keeps trying to hit the ball out of the ball carrier's hands, leading to fumbles. Very good strength and very good pursuit. Fella is a good block shedder and tackler. He is consistently making a presence on the field, and I expect that to continue going into next season.     Pharris first landed on my radar due to our combine series. He had limited game action this past season. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and jumping. Pharris has good mental processing by watching the QB's eyes leading to a tackle. When I had watched him at our combine, he was taking in the coaching and implementing it into his drills. I want to see more playing time from Pharris going into next season.     Krza measures in at 6'1 205-pound. The linebacker for Mullen had 27 total tackles (5 solo, 22 assisted), 1 TFL, and 1 sack. Krza has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good change of direction, speed, and jumping. Krza has good competitive toughness. He is consistently helping his teammates finish tackles and getting the job done. Good block shedder and good tackling. Good read and reaction time for zone coverage. Krza uses his good mental processing to watch the QB and the ball carrier. Again, I want to see more playing time from Krza and I would expect more playing time going into his junior season.
