WA 3A Preseason All State (2025-26) 1st & 2nd Team “D”

We are still 5+ months away from the season getting started, but here we take a quick look at next year's preseason all-state teams on offense & defense. Please note a few of the key components as it relates to the selection process which most are already aware of..    *If you play for a winning program, you are much more likely to be selected as an all-state athlete. It's even more impressive if you are on this list and play for a team or in a league that has struggled.    *This is NOT a recruiting based list. Brother's Jeremiah and [player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu'] are equally impressive, with Tevita recently blowing up and adding offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Washington, and Arizona.    Eastside Catholic matches up nicely with O'Dea on D with five projected 1st team all-state athletes returning. LB [player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'] is committed to UW with [player_tooltip player_id='652796' first='Liufau' last='Loumoli'] being ranked the #1 player in Washington for the 2027 class.    As mentioned, top athlete [player_tooltip player_id='402787' first='Asa' last='Thompson'] is back in the secondary with 6-4 CB [player_tooltip player_id='1582216' first='Cade' last='Boehl'] who has a stock that is rising quickly. Eastside also features a major 2028 recruit in [player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili'] who has multiple D1 offers, earning 2nd team all-Metro honors as a freshman.    Two other underclassmen who project as 1st team LB's include [player_tooltip player_id='1188110' first='Michael' last='Pulalasi'] and Christoper Ah-Loe. Pulalasi put up some ridiculous numbers as a sophomore and has phenomenal film. Ah-Loe garnered offers from Washington and Nevada as a 9th grader.    Other DB's who will be in the mix include 3* [player_tooltip player_id='726148' first='Zamarie' last='Tellez'] who we talked about on O, with fellow 3* [player_tooltip player_id='1165368' first='Elijah' last='Durr'] committing to the Huskies over the likes of Wisconsin and Michigan St.    Last but not least [player_tooltip player_id='1582208' first='Kayden' last='Steptoe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1589232' first='Jake' last='Young'], both of whom earned 1st team all-conference honors as juniors. Steptoe is a 3* with the 6-3 Young being of the NW's fastest rising CB prospects. Look for him and DE [player_tooltip player_id='1589204' first='Skyler' last='Harty'] to lead a talented Central Valley defense.
