Mathaias is able to play on the inside or the outside of the defensive line and has a plethora of moves to utilize in order to get by offensive lineman. He has a college ready build and has been looking stronger and more athletic on the field. Kalepo has quick hands and great placement when trying to push through the line. I expect him to have a huge junior year for himself.

Versatile DL prospect that can play both interior and on the edge. At 5’11” 225 lbs. he’s got a strong build that will continue to add weight and strength as he develops. Shows good mobility and athleticism to redirect and chase in the short area. He’s quick off the ball and has active hands early to prevent blockers from getting into his body. Does a good job stacking and neutralizing blockers to hold his gap. High effort player that finishes the play and is an aggressive tackler at the contact point. Finished the 2023 season with 45 total tackles, five sacks, and three TFL. Looking forward, he projects as a DT if he can keep adding weight/strength and maintain his athleticism.
