Ah-Loe is another prospect that was set to be on my Washington 2027 list, until I learned he was reclassing to 2028, which makes him an obvious choice here. Initially loved him as a tight end towards the end of last season, but after watching the last several months, I think he has a future as a Linebacker or even an Edge. A legitimate 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Ah-Loe gets downhill quickly and can lay some devastating hits as an outside linebacker. Plays with disciplined eyes and does a great job of reading and reacting quickly. He’s wrapping up his youth career with Gridiron AIGA this season.

The Washington prospect did a really nice job playing Outside Linebacker at practice. Normally a Tight End on offense, he’s split out as a Wide Receiver in the West’s scheme and that doesn’t really suit his skill set. After looking mundane playing out of position offense, he came to life on defense, playing like the kid I saw in December at AYF Nationals. He’s a natural as an Outside linebacker with his 6-foot-2 and 185-pound frame and the physical play he brings to the table. I saw coaches getting him on a bit in a hunt and fit drill after starting off a little slow, but after that it’s as if the switch got flipped and that mean streak came out. He attacked the near hip of ball carriers during tracking drills and wrapped up well. I think he’s going to quietly become a really, really good player in the PNW.

-A 6-foot-2, 185-pound Tight End/Linebacker that really shined at AYF Nationals in Florida in early December for the 14U Gridiron AIGA team
-Offensively, is one of the better blocking Tight Ends I have seen on the pre-high school level in the country. Does a good job of locking in and driving guys downfield, into the sidelines or onto the ground
-Defensively, is a a really nice looking prospect as an Outside Linebacker. Watching him at first, I thought he was a Safety because he was always around the ball and in position to make a tackle. Athletic, rangy kid
