Class of 2026, YOU are now on the board! With the 2025 class all but wrapped up, it's time to fully turn our attention to the junior class (incoming seniors), who will now be planning their spring/summer visits and deciding which schools they want to camp with. To kick start this changing of the tide, we rolled out our updated Class of 2026 rankings, with over 400 ranked players and 100+ players listed on our watchlist.

Janesville's [player_tooltip player_id='1358226' first='Logan' last='Lashbrook'] might've been one of the biggest eye-openers in this round of updates with an impressive junior film. Right off the bat, it's clear that Logan has the size to play tight end at the next level with a strong, athletic 6'5" and 230-pound frame. From checking Logan's X account, it sounds like he's still learning the position but already flashes a well-rounded skillset you like to see in the modern TE. He has elite, natural hands and a huge catch radius that allow him to haul in any ball thrown his way, with the concentration to hold on through contact. Lashbrook is very good after the catch, showing his toughness and balance to keep rumbling for additional yardage while dragging defenders with him. Logan also showed that he can excel in the other half of being a tight end, which is a physical blocker off the line. Lashbrook's experience on the offensive line shined through in his blocking as he executed clean blocks with good hand placement and use of leverage. Logan is strong enough to drive defenders off the ball and even has a mean streak, as he looks to finish his blocks in the dirt. Here's someone that will draw D1 attention as more teams catch on.

Overall: 18 | TE: 3

Grand View Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='1370695' first='Brayden' last='Hoben'] was a player we tabbed as one to watch at the beginning of the season, and boy, did he deliver! During his junior season, Brayden erupted with 43 receptions for 809 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, leading all Class 1A receivers. Hoben also turned it up on defense, tallying 78 tackles and two interceptions. Currently, Brayden plays more as a wide receiver where he can take advantage of size mismatches on the outside and stretch the field with his speed. However, I can see him evolving into a flex TE role at the next level as he continues to build on his 6'5" and 215-pound frame. Brayden is an elite deep-threat who flies off the ball, accelerates downfield, tracks the ball in the air, and has the sure hands to secure the catch. His basketball skills shine, and he can play above the rim as he high-points the ball over defenders. Great body adjustments to the ball with excellent awareness of the boundaries.

Overall: 24 | TE: 4

Mason City's [player_tooltip player_id='1241533' first='Ty' last='Sanchez-Evans'] is a player we've been very high on since he was an underclassman. The Riverhawks tight end hauled in 28 receptions for 344 yards and six touchdowns with 28 tackles, four TFLs, and an interception as a junior. The part of Ty's game that stands out the most is how polished he is as a blocker, and in my opinion, is the top blocking TE in his class. He has great size, with a strong, sturdy 6'3" and 240-pound frame and a strong base that allows him to drive defenders out of running lanes. Sanchez-Evans flashed that he could be physical with his blocks as he looked to finish them off with a pancake. Ty also looked good as a pass-catcher, showing that he can work all three levels of the field and be a reliable target between the seams. Very reliable hands and great route running that can create separation at the top of the route. In the state known for its tight ends, this might be a sleeper you should get your hands on sooner rather than later.

South Central Calhoun's [player_tooltip player_id='1631387' first='Charlie' last='Nattress'] is a player I see with upside on either side of the ball, flashing as both a TE/WR and linebacker. I was very impressed with the offensive tape Charlie produced last season. Charlie put up solid production as a junior with 20 receptions for 285 yards, three receiving touchdowns, 36 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and three sacks. He displayed great hands and concentration as he completed some difficult receptions. Charlie does a great job finding the ball in the air and following it through the catch process even with defenders draped on him or using their hands to break up the pass. He also has a nice burst as he turns upfield, usually accounting for some additional yardage on top of the catch.

Overall: 114 | TE: 10

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1238539' first='Ben' last='Meyer'] is a hidden gem on a dominant West Lyon team that claimed the 2A title last season. Ben hauled in 8 receptions for 157 yards and two receiving touchdowns, while also posting 19.5 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and eight sacks. The thing that stands out most about Ben when watching his junior tape is his non-stop motor that keeps him running red-hot, whether on offense or defense. On offense, Ben is quick to fire out of his stance to make quick, aggressive contact with his opponent before finding a way to drop them to the dirt. At 6'3" and 230-pounds, Ben holds up very well against defensive linemen in the trenches as he battles to clear out running lanes for his backs. Good hand placement and use of leverage on his blocks. Defensively, he's got an explosive first step that shoots him off the line and building speed quickly as he rushes the passer. Ben showed he was a complete TE with great route running skills, the ability to beat defenders over the middle, and reliable hands at the catch point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241501' first='Gatlin' last='Rogers'] (@_GatlinRogers), Wilton - 6'3" 210 lbs

Overall: 132 | TE: 11

Despite having his junior season shortened by injury, Gatlin still managed to have a productive season on both sides of the ball for the Wilton Beavers. Rogers ended his junior campaign with 18 receptions for 149 yards and four touchdowns while tallying 40 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, and five sacks on defense. Gatlin is another player who I see receiving offers to play on offense or defense, but for now his upside at tight end is very impressive to watch. Gatlin's versatility allows him to be lined up anywhere across the formation with the size to outmuscle smaller defenders and the speed/athleticism to torch slower ones. He does a great job creating seperation and finding the soft spots in coverage. Good wiggle after the catch. Defensively, Gatlin proved to be very disruptive in the trenches with his 15 total stops behind the line of scrimmage. He defends the run and can set the edge very well. You can also tell Rogers to pin his ears back and unleash him to rush the passer.
