stands out from his teammates at Janesville as the best athlete, far and away. A tight end and defensive line hybrid for the Wildcats, he could play either position at the next level.
Part of a run-heavy offense, Lashbrook is a solid blocker with a strong base and the size to handle pass-rushers off the edge. At 6’5″ and 230 pounds, his frame is an excellent start to work with at the next level. If given more opportunities through the air this season, he has the chance to be much more consistently productive in 2025 after posting just five catches for 154 yards and three scores last fall.
On the defensive line, Lashbrook put together a monster junior year, finishing with 44 tackles and leading his squad in sacks (five) and tackles-for-loss (14.5). A state-champion rugby player, the soon-to-be senior likes to play a physical brand of football.

Lashbrook stands out for his projectable frame and athleticism, the starter kit for being a productive tight end. Those traits also translate to success on the offensive or defensive lines. We have him listed among our tight ends right now based on his upside at that position, which Lashbrook illustrates on his junior highlight video. The opening clip shows him running by and then over defenders. He’s asked to play guard in the eight-player game at times, which really allows for appreciating his blocking. Lashbrook is technically sound with his footwork, and his hand placement and activity greatly aid the process. While Lashbrook is raw and needs to be projected from the eight-player game, his potential his among the greatest in Iowa’s 2026 Class.

has the athleticism, power, and dynamic ability to succeed on the gridiron wherever positioned that has placed him as one of the most coveted prospects in Iowa for this upcoming class. On the defensive side, Lashbrook recorded 44 tackles, 14.5 TFLs, and 5 sacks. Lashbrook physically overwhelmed his opponents thanks to his strength, burst, and great usage of his hands to leverage to the outside of his blockers and generate pressure. Showing a steady amount of bend in his arms and a tough initial impact at the pad level, Lashbrook’s hand work stemmed well from his efforts as a run-blocker at the TE position. Despite his status playing from the 8-man league, Lashbrook deserves his high ranking, and it will be interesting to see how that athleticism will be used at the next level for whoever signs him.

Lashbrook is a versatile athlete some schools may see filling a tight-end role, while others might favor bringing him in as a defensive lineman. He caught five balls for a crazy 154 yards and three touchdowns in 2024. Lashbrook added 44.0 tackles (21 solo, 14.5 for loss) and 5.0 sacks. He also delivered three two-point conversions. Lashbrook’s junior highlight video impresses. He overwhelms opponents at the eight-player level with his size, speed and athleticism. He’s a complete tight end, standing out as a receiver and a blocker. His abilities also work well when coming off the edge as a speed rusher that can run down the quarterback or running backs.
