This young man shows off the fluidity with his footwork that is intriguing and is even better showing off his vertical and great placement on deep routes which is a credit to his football. He appears to be versatile too in the secondary as he has seen reps at safety as well. I would love to get a grasp on where his wingspan numbers would be at camps this summer, as man is he polished when he reaches for the ball. Emerson shows off an improviser at the quarterback position, as one that is versatile with his legs to extend nothing plays into something. He also passes the eye test with his balanced touch and precision he shows off on deep routes with his game tape. He seems to not lose much of his arm strength either when throwing from the run. The 5'8 185 pounder out of Williston, shows off great pursuit angles getting the the ball and the range this young man can cover impresses me based on his measurables. He also shows off good vision and packs a punch when he makes contact which I love on tape. He also shows off a linebacker that can penetrate quickly as a run stopper early. The tapes shows off a quarterback that on multi levels of the field, shows off a quick fire on his release and has development brewing in my eyes with getting more advanced with his touch throws. The athletic movement Bent has from his start is raw at the moment, but once he gets to the ball the suddenness and ranges pops out quickly on tape.
