PRZ Duel in the DMV 7v7: MoCo Dawgs Review

MoCo Dawgs made it all the way to the final 4 teams and was the furthest advancing team from the MD/DC area. Able to find holes in coverage, work the middle of the field and be effective in crossers from the slot role. His size and built frame allowed him to compete for passes and come out the victor as Mason possesses strong hands. Effective after the catch, he had many plays over the weekend where he caught it short and got nice YAC for big plays. He is a rocked up great body 6'2" 200lbs+ athlete with a great wingpsan. Mainly used as an edge rusher for Seneca, Mack was playing at LB in coverage for the 7v7 and he held his own and showed well. He plays fast, moves well, closes on the ball quickly and has been recorded at reaching speeds of 21.6 MPH. Mackenly shows fluid quick twitch hips, able to change direction and get up to speed. Elijah was MoCo Dawgs best weapon last weekend providing multiple scores. He's got plenty of juice and wiggle, able to turn DBs inside out and get himself open down the field. Elijah can also make guys miss in the open field, which is hard to do in 7v7 competition. I saw him multiple times, change his speed and angles to create space and separation from the defense after the catch. He ran the MoCo Dawgs offense to perfection. Used all his weapons and all of the field he was able to complete passes across all 3 levels. He was decisive with his passes and decision making, getting the ball out quick with nice accuracy. He was consistent and was smart with the ball, knowing when to drop it off to the open target and when to take the shot down field for big plays. With a smooth quick release, Travon can just zip it out with a flick of his wrist and get it on target with pace. Corky was the main vertical threat, able to stretch the field and get up the seam. He is explosive of the snap, able to get up to top speed quickly and fly by DBs. Dynamic with the ball in his hands, he shows good wiggle and ability to change speeds and create separation.
