Oregon 5A Preseason All State (2025-26) 1st & 2nd Team “O”

We are still 5+ months away from the season getting started, but here we take a quick look at next year's preseason all-state teams on offense & defense. Please note a few of the key components as it relates to the selection process which most are already aware of..    *If you play for a winning program, you are much more likely to be selected as an all-state athlete. It's even more impressive if you are on this list and play for a team or in a league that has struggled.    *This is NOT a recruiting based list. Dexter is a potential D1 guy on both sides of the football and Babbitt should do well out of the backfield, taking over for all everything POY [player_tooltip player_id='754595' first='Ceville' last='Pasi'].    Other RB's who will be in the mix include [player_tooltip player_id='1011382' first='Angel' last='Valenzuela'] who went off as a sophomore before dealing with some injuries and [player_tooltip player_id='1232743' first='Daniel' last='Heninger'] of Glencoe who totaled 2000 yards last season for Glencoe.    One of the best QB/WR duos on the west coast for the 2028 class is [player_tooltip player_id='904208' first='Zeke' last='Thomas'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1609788' first='Knox' last='Smith']. The question is whether or not they will be at CV. Both are elite.    As referenced numerous times TE/WR [player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] of Canby could be listed among the top players in America if he stays healthy. Other 1st team WR standouts include [player_tooltip player_id='770007' first='Logan' last='Uitto'] who had a big junior season and [player_tooltip player_id='1110930' first='Matthew' last='Newell'] of Thurston who has D1 genes. Both individuals lose their all-state QB's [player_tooltip player_id='511861' first='Sawyer' last='Teeney'] and [player_tooltip player_id='406763' first='Noah' last='Blair'] to graduation.    On the line [player_tooltip player_id='1341253' first='Cody' last='Calvert'] is one of only four athletes to earn preseason 1st team all-state honors on both sides of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='1544467' first='Travis' last='Ege'] of Crater did a great job as a junior containing the likes of 4* [player_tooltip player_id='739439' first='Tony' last='Cumberland'], and if 6-8 310-pound tackle [player_tooltip player_id='426586' first='Peyton' last='Eveland'] can put it all together, he has a chance to major D1 recruit.
