Onto one of the most exciting position groups in the sport: the wide receivers. As always, New Jersey is delivering some promising prospects at the position. I've had the chance to see many wide receivers from the Class of 2030 in action at the Next Combine over the past few years, and a select few truly stand out from the crowd. Below are some of the players I've seen live, along with others I'm excited to watch develop over the next few seasons. These are the names you'll want to get familiar with—sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530475' first='Davion' last='Mims'] is a red zone nightmare for defenders and a go-to target when the field gets tight. With elite sideline awareness, body control, and the ability to contort midair, he consistently makes contested catches near the boundary. Davion tracks the ball effortlessly over the shoulder, never losing focus, and reels it in from long distances with exceptional hand-eye coordination. Whether it's high-pointing a jump ball or dragging a foot inbounds, he's a reliable deep threat built for big plays.

Once the ball is in Davion's hands, he's electric. A true YAC specialist, he makes defenders miss with quick-twitch movements, sharp cutbacks, and fluid hips that allow him to turn routine plays into highlight reels. Built like a track star, he combines speed and elusiveness to torch defensive backs downfield and take the top off any defense. Expect this receiver to be a problem for secondaries for years to come.

https://twitter.com/Cantguard_Dae/status/1854356267734573322

With strong hands and a bigger frame, [player_tooltip player_id='1506581' first='Brayden' last='Berkley'] has the potential to grow into a versatile offensive weapon, possibly even lining up at tight end in the future. He already shows promise as a top downfield target, using his size to outcompete defenders for contested catches. While more film will provide a clearer picture of his overall game, there's plenty to be excited about in what lies ahead for this prospect.

With some impressive film, [player_tooltip player_id='1278083' first='E'san' last='Stokes-Rider'] bursts off the line with explosive speed, creating separation from the snap and making life difficult for any defender in front of him. He consistently high-points the ball, using his length and timing to win battles in the air. With a physical edge, E'san fights for every ball in traffic, turning so-called 50/50 balls into near guarantees when thrown his way. Once the ball is in E'san's hands, he accelerates quickly—capable of turning a short slant across the middle into a game-breaking gain.

Standing out with long arms and legs, E'san is already showing flashes of the prototypical frame college scouts dream of. As he continues to grow and develop, that upside will only become more apparent. On defense, he's just as dangerous—an instinctive, lockdown defensive back who tracks the ball with precision and knows how to snatch it out of the air. Whether he's on offense or defense, this two-way standout is a name to watch as he racks up reps and big-time plays.

https://twitter.com/Cantholdesan/status/1880051308297895945

[player_tooltip player_id='1476964' first='Miles' last='Block'] really stood out in his 2024 film, clearly setting himself apart as a top-tier talent in his position group. Miles has a knack for creating separation with ease at the line of scrimmage and downfield, using quick footwork and sharp route breaks to get defenders off balance. A reliable pass catcher as well, Miles is the type of player quarterbacks trust to consistently move the chains and keep drives alive.

He's not just a technician in the passing game—his determined running style makes him tough to bring down. He keeps his legs driving through contact, refusing to go down on first touch. Expect him to be a focal point of the offense, getting fed the ball often and methodically helping his team march down the field.

With a towering frame and natural strength, [player_tooltip player_id='1476959' first='Mason' last='Rohan'] consistently overshadows defenders and wins tough matchups. Mason uses his physicality to dominate at the line of scrimmage and in contested catch situations as well. His long reach gives him an edge against the competition, allowing him to pluck the ball out of the sky with ease.

A polished route runner as well, Mason moves with smooth precision and makes sharp cuts without losing balance. His strong center of gravity keeps him grounded through contact, making him a reliable target in tight windows. This is one of the prime targets to keep an eye on in the class.
