Linebackers making noise in the offseason

He's a hybrid linebacker and safety and I like him as a safety at the next level. Burton has good coverage skills and excellent vision. He can be the deep safety as he covers a lot of ground and an eraser on defense and masks a lot of flaws within a defense. Burton showcases good closing speed and has active hands to make a play on the ball. He can be a box safety and hybrid big safety role as he is a physical player who is not afraid to get dirty and disrupt in run support. When Burton plants and go, he is exceptional and simply a playmaker. He's a player that should get regionally recruited with power-four offers. He primarily lined up as an EDGE rusher but will be spending more time as a backer for the 2025 season. Ames shows good footwork and lateral quickness with good hip bend as traits that will tranistiion to a backer role and in coverage. He has good discipline and closing speed to further showcase his ability to be good in space and in coverage and should not get lost back peddling. Ames is a tremendous rusher with good speed and physicality with an array of moves to rush and beat a lineman. He shows great hip bend and those traits should transfer well to his backer role. It will be interesting if he is used as a LEO, that hybrid role could be his sweet spot and he won't have to bulk up too much. He has a good frame and can add on an extra 10-15 lbs this offseason without limiting his athletic traits. Finau is a quick and sudden athlete who is explosive. He blends that suddenness with physicality, he easily sheds blockers and enforces his will on the ball carrier. Finau shows good footwork and lateral quickness with good hip bend. He isn't lost in coverage and is just as comfortable dropping back into coverage as he is rushing the quarterback. Finau has great upside and a player that should get regionally recruited and garner power-four offers. As a rusher, he showcases good physicality and textbook tackling form. Cordero sheds blockers easily and has good speed to get around the edge with good bend at the hip. He has active hands that will thwart away a lineman's attempt to stop him. In coverage, Cordero shows great coverage skills and the ability to stick to his man. He has great change of direction and lateral movement. Cordero has good closing speed and makes a play on the ball when it comes his way. He's a versatile piece who can play any of the backer positions and safety positions. He shows good speed and vision. Haungatau has active hands and showcases good rushing techniques. He is best as an on-ball backer where he can rush the quarterback and get active behind the line of scrimmage.
