Football Prospects Flying in the 100m In The Early Spring

LaBan was named 1st Team All Region last season after totaling over 1200 total yards and scoring 13 TDs, almost a TD per every 12 touches. An obvious speedster that can get to the edge quick and shows breakaway speed to outrun the defense. A versatile RB that has great hands out of the backfield. His statue at 165 pounds probably has slowed the early offers but LaBan has proven on the field he can play. The 5'8 155 Freshman RB ran 11.35 100m in his 1st event as a high schooler. A decent 1st time but what really got me excited was his freshman film. A slashing type runner that has obvious speed but what I liked was his physicality. He looked like a 155 pound Derrick Henry out there running over defenders. Marchese caught 44 passes for over 1000 yards last season for the Purple Hurricanes, earning numerous P4 offers this offseason including UGA. He put up an impressive 11.13 to finish 2nd in a stacked field at the recent Purple Hurricane Invitational. I saw this guy in person last season vs Cedartown and it didn't take long to know he was a star. He out dueled two P4 DBs all game and caught everything thrown close. The 6'1 160 WR/DB has great hands and adjusts to the ball well in the air. He had 2 interceptions last season on the defensive side of the ball earning All Region honors. A multisport athlete that is long and lean and has a good frame to add weight. He recently finished 3rd at the Purple Hurricane Invitational in a field loaded with speedsters. He recently finished Top 4 at the Purple Hurricane Invitational with an 11.15 100m in his 1st ever high school event. Prep Redzone is no stranger to Wards speed. He was the fastest guy at our Middle School Combine last Spring with a 4.57 40. I'm not sure his official height and weight right now but last Spring at Camp he was a solid 5'9 171. The former B2C RB of the Year saw action last Fall on the North Cobb freshman team at returner and RB.
