North Scott does a nice job developing prospects for the next level. Kelley is among the next student-athletes in the line out of Eldridge. He operates as an end in a three-man front for the Lancers. Kelley gets the job done by combining athleticism and physicality. We see that when watching his junior highlight video. Kelley plays within the structure of the defense and works well off of his teammates. He takes on blocks effectively in freeing up linebackers for tackles. Strong, active hands aid Kelley in separating from blocks.

Fitz was limited to seven games last season but still managed to pile up 41.5 tackles and force three fumbles. His junior highlight video reveals a physical linebacker that embraces contact. He diagnoses plays plays quickly, flows to the football and keeps the play in front of him. His motor and fearless approach make him a factor on special teams, too. Most of the clips show Fitz playing the run, which he does really well. He looks quick enough to stick in coverage but would like to see more there.

Pata picked off a pair of passes and allowed just five throws to be complete while in coverage during '24. He contributed 12 tackles (10 solo, 1.0 TFL) in a season in which he missed three games with injury. Pata is a versatile defensive back that can move around the formation. He operates effectively in man-to-man or zone coverage. Pata sticks to his guy whether playing bump-and run or while giving cushion to the receiver. He tracks the ball well in the air.

Peters is a center prospect with the flexibility to slide to guard or, perhaps, do work at defensive tackle. He looks natural in the middle of the O-Line, as you can witness watching his junior highlight video. Peters is a handful in tight space, overpowering opponents and getting them on their heels off of the snap. He also shows he can get out in space and reach his blocks. Peters is a boss in the run and quick-pass games, which most of his clips illustrate. He'll need to show college coaches his traditionally pass protection skills in camp.

Beattie is a key piece of a returning Wolves' nucleus in 2025. He earned first-team all-district honors as a junior last fall. Beattie succeeds operating with leverage and pushing around opponents as he shows during his 11th-grade highlight video. Beattie uses his hands well, staying active and keeping defenders in front of him. Like many prospects, he's strong against the run and will need to show he can perform consistently in pass protection.

West Lyon ranks as one of the better small-school programs at developing student-athletes for the next level. The players are tough and fundamentally sound. Meyer certainly fits that description. As a junior during the Wildcats' unbeaten season last fall, Meyer caught eight passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns. He produced 8.5 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks on defense. His junior highlight video is impressive. He's tough to contain when coming off of the edge. When lined up at tight end, he is a willing and able blocker. He looks comfortable running routes and produces when giving the opportunity to catch a pass.
