Deep Dive: Iredell/Lincoln County Quarterbacks

Charlotte Football Insiders is taking a look at ranking the top Charlotte Metro Area players by position, and we're taking a look at those players in those rankings in a Deep Dive analysis series. In these articles, we will share why these players are ranked and their best attributes as potential college-level football players in their respective futures. This will feature quarterbacks in Iredell and Lincoln Counties.   <figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2025/03/Iredell-Lincoln-QB.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1633153" /></figure>    The two-time conference offensive player of the year earned the top slot in this ranking because of his impressive production in leading the Blue Devils to the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Brody has grown physically and is picking up recruiting attention and offers from multiple Division 1 schools. With several talented teammates in tow coming up this season, his senior year is poised to be his best one yet. Brody has improved on his dual-threat ability and has shown the accuracy in critical situations for his team to thrive offensively.     Taking over the starting quarterback position mid-season, Kaden showed talents beyond his years as a freshman, leading the Wildcats to the state playoffs. Kaden's physical frame and dual-threat ability have already garnered the attention of several Division 1 college programs and some of those have offered Kaden, including North Carolina and Bill Belichick. It will be exciting to see how Kaden continues to progress in his second season with a good supporting cast behind him.     I was impressed with Grant's game this year, and he is a sure add to our rankings in our next update. Grant threw for 2650 passing yards with 35 touchdowns. Grant showed some dual-threat ability on the ground as well with 388 rushing yards. Grant has a strong physical frame at 6'3 and 190 pounds and is poised to have a strong senior season as well for a good program overall at East Lincoln.     Cameron has picked up an offer from New Mexico and has several other college programs interested in him currently. Cameron has a strong arm and can make throws to all areas of the field. With good accuracy on his passes consistently, Cameron is poised to have a big junior season and jump on even more radars of college football programs across the nation. I think Cameron is a hard-working young man with the right demeanor to lead an offense to a successful year.     Tyler is an impressive dual-threat quarterback for the Vikings who had a strong All-Conference season this past year. What's even more impressive is Tyler didn't have a ton of other teammates to take pressure off of him to produce and move the ball in critical situations. Tyler helped lead South Iredell in a bounce back season to the state playoffs, and he should be even better in his senior season.    Honorable Mentions   [player_tooltip player_id='1678610' first='Rashad' last='Lynch'] - Lincolnton - With 16 touchdown passes last season, Rashad is on his way to becoming a player on the verge of a breakout season for a talented Wolves program. He is on my radar to watch this upcoming season.   [player_tooltip player_id='1333070' first='Kaleb' last='Sales'] - North Iredell - Kaleb did a ton on both the ground and in the air, leading the North Iredell program to the state playoffs for the first time in many years. Expect similar production from him in his senior year as well.
