Scott could earn himself a ranking soon. Though, there are a few great-looking QBs at Dearborn, so I don't quite know what to think of Scott just yet.

His best highlights show him taking calculated risks with the football. In his relatively short 2-minute tape, there are 3-4 risky deep throws that pay off because of how dang accurate he is. Scott also has a few good runs, where he shows average - above average speed.

Cross is someone I watched for one half in his playoff game against Riverview. He had his moments, but overall, did not show enough to be ranked. Plus, he barely has anything on Hudl.

Jakoby seems to have the size and athletic ability to develop into a good RB. He's slim, athletic, and earned a lot of playing time last season. Let's see if we're able to see more of Jakoby next season!

Another very intriguing player who I haven't seen tape of in over a year

The thing about Grandville is that it's very difficult to stand out. This is a big D1 school that always prides itself on the quality of its running backs. In 2023, Jayden showed some solid flashes. I especially liked some of his contact balance and his ability to simply hit the correct holes and make the most of his runs. Moving forward, I'd still like to see him develop a bit more explosiveness. Could be a starting Varsity RB next season- we'll see!

Honestly, I should have ranked Joe. He's a bruiser of a running back with some fun highlights.

That said, I think he's a D3 or NAIA prospect. Without a doubt, Joe's biggest strengths are his vision and contact balance. He's a patient runner, rarely dances around, and is not afraid to lower a shoulder. Though, his biggest issue is his speed and all-around explosiveness. If you want to be a D2 or D1 running back, you need to be extremely explosive. Even if you want to go D3, you need to show some flashes in this category.
Joe is a very, very good high school running back. Can't wait to see what he's able to do next season!

Kiante could be a standout player this fall. He doesn't have much tape on hudl, but the tape he does have shows good flashes. In his Detroit Catholic Central tape, Kiante has a great pass pro rep, and a couple of solid carries.

Speaking on his carries, Kiante pretty much just runs within the structure of the offense. At times, he's able to earn an extra yard or two. I like his physicality (demonstrated by his pass pro), so I could definitely see Kiante being a great power RB. Until I watch Kiante in person, he'll remain on the watch list.
