Another beautiful Sunday for some Film Room breakdowns! I'm continuing coverage of the 2026 class by stepping into the film room to look at some prospects flying under the radar. This week I'm taking my film room tour to Hall County where I highlight five prospects who should be added to your radars asap!

[player_tooltip player_id='1115010' first='Grayson' last='Sack'] (QB), Grand Island Central Catholic - 5'10" 175 lbs - (@sack_grayson)

A breakout year from QB [player_tooltip player_id='1115010' first='Grayson' last='Sack'] in 2024 helped the Crusaders with their first finish above .500 since 2020. Grayson was excellent in his junior campaign, ending the year top 10 in passing yards among 2026 QBs with 2,046 yards and 24 passing touchdowns with a QBR of 122.7. Sack also showed he can be a weapon with his legs after rushing for 623 yards and nine touchdowns. What stood out immediately about Grayson was his mobility and overall athleticism, showing his ability to extend plays with his legs and maneuver the pass rush. He is extremely slippery when evading blitzing defenders, displaying excellent vision and change of direction, which makes him very tough to corner and bring down. He also flashed a great burst when he decided to tuck the ball and run it himself, with nice acceleration to break away from defenders. Another impressive part of Grayson's game was his ability to throw on the move, with great downfield vision and the arm strength to deliver an accurate ball when off-balance. Grayson also displayed some finesse with his throws by layering his passes over defenders and fitting the ball into tight windows. With Grayson taking school visits already, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up his first offer sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115006' first='Gavin' last='Whitefoot'] (DL/OL), Centura - 6'1" 255 lbs - (@whitefoot68438)

After a solid junior campaign, Centura's [player_tooltip player_id='1115006' first='Gavin' last='Whitefoot'] will be a name to watch out for in Class C2 this season. Gavin is a two-way player on the offensive and defensive lines, with college upside at either side. I mostly focused on his play on the defensive side of the ball where he racked up 22 tackles, five TFLs, and a sack. Watching Gavin's tape shows he has experience playing different shades and techniques along the DL, proving most effective playing anywhere from the 2-4 tech. Gavin has a solid size at 6'1" and 265 lbs with a great combination of strength and lateral quickness which caused several problems for opposing linemen. Whitefoot does a great job using his powerful base to anchor down against blockers to clog up interior run lanes and uses his hands very well to disengage from blockers. He plays with great pad level throughout his reps and showed that he can get under opposing linemen to outleverage them. Gavin has some clips showing that he also has a few speed moves in his bag for when going up against slower linemen. Good job keeping his eyes on the ball and plays with a great motor that keeps him flowing to the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1573879' first='Ethan' last='Mader'] (DB), Grand Island Northwest - 6'0" 175 lbs - (@EthanMader8)

GI Northwest's [player_tooltip player_id='1573879' first='Ethan' last='Mader'] flew under-the-radar last season despite being highly productive as a junior. The Viking's junior defender ended last year with 100 tackles, six TFLs, and an interception. Ethan is a versatile defender who is listed as a safety but showed the toughness and physicality to be looked at more as a "box safety" who can triggers his keys very accurately and can break downhill to help out against the run or flip his hips and drop back into coverage. When in run support, Ethan displays smart gap play as he effectively fills in his lanes and flows to the ball naturally. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Ethan is a consistent, effective tackler who uses solid technique and has the leg drive to stop his opponents on contact— hard to shake in open field. I was impressed with his range in coverage, showing that he can get depth to erase any threats over top as well has possessing the closing speed to drive to the flats to blow up short passes. Good football IQ and ability to read the QBs eyes. You can also move him up to take on slot receivers with the athelticism and speed to keep in thier hip pocket. Solid prospect out of GI!

[player_tooltip player_id='1640155' first='Dylan' last='Logue'] (DB), Grand Island - 6'0" 165 lbs - (@DylanLogue26)

Here's another DB prospect from GI to watch. Islander's junior [player_tooltip player_id='1640155' first='Dylan' last='Logue'] is an up-and-coming prospect who jumped onto my radar after the most recent update, so you can expect to see his name in the summer rankings. Dylan recorded 37 tackles with four pass deflections as a junior and seems to be set up to take on a bigger role next year. Like Mader, Logue plays safety but has shown a willingness to step up into the box to provide run support where he is a secure tackler once he gets to the ball. Good range that can take him from sideline to sideline with ease. Good footwork when backpedaling with loose hips when going to change direction. Dylan does a good job using his hands to deflect passes at the catch point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640154' first='Preston' last='Witter'] (DL), Doniphan-Trumbull

Despite the small sample size, I was still very impressed with the upside shown by Doniphan-Trumbull's [player_tooltip player_id='1640154' first='Preston' last='Witter']. Preston plays defensive end for the Cardinals, ending last season with 25 tackles, four TFLs, and two sacks. What stood out about Preston was his explosiveness off the ball. He flashes a quick get-off and can turn that speed to power at the point of contact. He keeps his feet constantly moving through his rush and effectively uses his hands to disengage. Definitely looking forward to finding out more about Preston!
