He is physical and fast up front, I feel bad for lineman trying to take him on, he embarrasses them weekly. Hughes could play linebacker or defensive end at the next level in my opinion. He plays the run well and has the speed to let any back to the outside. He is a piercing outside linebacker who had 82 tackles last fall including 7 tackles for losses. Hairston is all over the field when you watch his tape and his coverages skills are impressive too. I am firm believer in the Stallions bouncing back from their disappointing 2024 season and Hairston leading the charge. He can play multiple positions on both sides including quarterback which is where he was ranked in this 2026 class prior. This past season Howe earned First Team All District honors at safety last fall and he is starting to gain a lot of notice from colleges.
