Under-the-Radar Prospects: District 3’s 2026 Stock Risers

He does a good job of making defenders miss in the open field. He also displays good speed as he runs past defenders in the open field trying to tackle him. Garcia is also good at running routes. He is excellent at running inside seams or posts where he runs past defenders to find the opening. He also catches the ball well, especially in traffic between defenders. He is outstanding on contested catches. In Cocalico's veer offense, the fullback is one of the most important positions and Horning plays the fullback position well. He is a hard-nosed runner, but he also has the game-breaking speed to run for long touchdowns. His physical running style is impressive as he is hard to bring down.  Horning also showed the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield well. As a linebacker, he shows excellent instincts and does a good job of reading and reacting to the play and attacking downhill. He is also a good tackler. His instincts are excellent as he does a great job of reading and reacting to the play. He several times had interceptions where he read the quarterback's eyes and then picked off the pass. He also was excellent at reading his keys and triggering downhill to make tackles in the run game. He does a good job of making tackles, especially in the open field. His ability to make tackles is impressive as he rarely misses. Dauble is also a capable tight end that is a good blocker and can catch the ball as well. He has the size (6'4" inches tall), and strength to play the position. He is excellent as a run blocker. His ability to fire off the ball and block defenders is excellent. In particular, he does a good job on outside zone plays run towards his side. He shows good movement and dominates defensive ends trying to stop him. He also does a good job down-blocking on linebackers. As a pass blocker, he needs to get better bend, but his footwork is good. I saw him play twice live, and both times, I came away impressed with his athleticism, speed, and elusiveness. The kid is dynamic with the ball in his hands. He can be used as a wide receiver or a returner. At wide receiver, he has good hands and catches the ball well in between defenders. He also is good after the catch by always making positive yards. Then, as a defensive back, he shows good coverage skills as he can cover and lock down receivers.
