The University of Arizona inked 5 in-state players here in 2025, with another big addition of a past in-state WR and Kansas State transfer. Take a look:

[player_tooltip player_id='368911' first='Luke' last='Haugo'], QB, Higley

Haugo inks his LOI with UofA after a promising high school career. The once North High transfer to Higley put himself on the map a few years ago and became one of the highest touted QB's in the state. Haugo holds a 5A State Championship ring from 2023 and a ton of potential to make some noise at the P4 level for UofA. Really looking forward to see how he develops.

[player_tooltip player_id='954309' first='Gio' last='Richardson'], WR, Basha

Richardson signs with UofA after being one of, if not the most electric player in the state the past couple years. Speedy, twitched up receiver with big play ability that can take the top off a defense with ease or turn a short yardage concept into a highlight reel. He held 9 total offers coming into signing day and put up over 1,800 yards and 18 TD's during his career at Basha.

[player_tooltip player_id='368906' first='Dajon' last='Hinton'], DB, Hamilton

A huge grab for that Wildcat secondary as they land a big time player in Hinton. He was a highly talked about prospect ever since his freshman season at Saguaro, ultimately transferring over to Hamilton for his senior year- where he continued to just be that game changer. A very impression all around athlete that checks all the boxes as your multi-year starter at the P4 level, and possesses a ton of position/scheme versatility within his skillset.

[player_tooltip player_id='369003' first='Jaxon' last='Griffin'], OL, Red Mountain

Arizona lands a big man up front by inking the 6'6" 250lb offensive lineman. Griffin played a huge role to put Red Mountain back on the map this season with their 7-3 record and 6A playoff appearance. Griffin chooses UofA over other offers from Oregon State and Colorado State, and will be another fun kid to watch develop at the P4 level.

[player_tooltip player_id='368905' first='Kaleb' last='Jones'], DL, Mountain Pointe

Jones chooses UofA over offers from Arizona State, Oregon, and Oregon State. He put himself on the map early on during his high school career, showing exceptional play strength and motor at a young age. He capitalized on that plays strength and molded himself into one of the most feared players along the Dline in the entire state, and will bring that tenacious mean streak to a hungry room down in Tucson.

*Transfer*

Tre Spivey, WR, Hamilton/Kansas State

A big transfer worth noting: Former Hamilton standout and Kansas State WR Tre Spivey also signs with UofA after hauling in 14 receptions for 160 yards and a TD for Kansas State during the 2024 season. Spivey was a highly touted prospect during his time at Hamilton that possesses all of the physical traits to excel at the P4 level, and is a HUGE land for UofA in my opinion.
