When it comes to 7-on-7 football, quarterbacks are the ones who set the tone. The best of them can take over a game, threading tight-window throws, throwing their receivers open, and putting their team in position to win. At the Prep Redzone Sunshine Classic, the 18U division was loaded with talented signal-callers who really stood out. Whether showing their big arm or making quick decisions with confidence, these quarterbacks proved they belong in the spotlight. Some names might already be on the radar, while others took this event as their chance to introduce themselves to a bigger audience. Regardless, they all put on performances that couldn't be ignored. Here's a look at more standout quarterbacks from the Prep Redzone Sunshine Classic's 18U division.

The youngest quarterback on this list also happens to be one of the biggest standouts. His massive frame translates into some incredible natural power behind his throws, and at such a young age, there's still time for that to develop even further. He throws a gorgeous ball and can hit any spot on the field with ease. Like this throw below; even with the double clutch and letting go completely off his front foot, he still has the strength to get the ball over the top of the defense. His natural talent and physical abilities alone make him a must-watch prospect. Patton's performance at the Sunshine Classic proved that he's not just a young talent — he's a serious quarterback prospect with a bright future ahead.

Even with a double-clutch and throwing completely off his front foot, @Noah1Patton has no problem getting the ball over the defense. He made sharp, quick decisions, processing the field well and delivering the ball on time. When he needed to, he put some zip on his throws, fitting passes into tight windows with confidence. His accuracy was one of his biggest strengths — he consistently placed the ball where only his receiver could make the play. He's already a really solid player, and as he continues to develop, adding some weight to his frame could make him even more of a force under center.

Jake Lind with a dart just over the defender for the score! pic.twitter.com/LiQ9sBZcfF
— Hunter Tierney (@thehonestupdate) February 13, 2025

Isaac Navarro is a quarterback with some of the smoothest upper-body mechanics you'll see. His quick release and sharp wrist snap give him impressive velocity on his throws, and the ball comes out effortlessly clean. He can make throws all over the field with precision, showing excellent control and touch. With a little more focus on keeping his back foot grounded just a touch longer for added power, he could elevate his game even further. Navarro already looks the part of a high-level quarterback, and with continued refinement, he's only going to get better.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DF8OJOhPFum/

Matthew Ochoa threw the ball really well throughout the tournament and showed a really fluid motion. He has a really solid understanding of how to attack defenses and often made the correct initial read, even if he couldn't always get the ball there. That kind of IQ, mixed with his very catchable ball, usually leads to a lot of production. He's a player worth keeping a close eye on, as his ability to read defenses and deliver accurate passes makes him a promising prospect moving forward.

2026 QB Matthew Ochoa threw a really catchable ball this weekend! You could tell he put in the time to make sure his mechanics stayed sharp, and it paid off with accurate throws all day. He's got a strong, sturdy build that gives him plenty of power, even though he's not the tallest guy out there. His spiral was clean, making life easy for his receivers, and he kept things moving efficiently in the short and intermediate game. If he starts taking a few more shots downfield, he could add another level to his game. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.

Charlie Reyes with a gorgeous deep ball JUST out of reach, but watch his footwork in a 7-on-7 tournament! 👀 pic.twitter.com/YNxcaYed2Z
— Hunter Tierney (@thehonestupdate) February 13, 2025

Bonus

[player_tooltip player_id='1000959' first='Bryson' last='Beaver'] was already mentioned in the "Sunshine Classic 18U First Day Standout Quarterbacks" article, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention just how highly I thought of his performance. In my opinion, he played the best quarterback of anyone at the entire event. His ability to quickly and correctly dissect defenses stood out in every single game. He's got a nice arm and strong mechanics, but what really separated him was what he has between the ears; his football IQ. He threw well-timed deep shots, moved through progressions with ease, and knew exactly where and when he could make certain throws. It was a clinic. If there was one quarterback who truly commanded the field, it was Beaver.

Look at @BrysonBeaverQB move the sinking LB with his eyes then quickly fire a strike in the hole he left! 👀

This kid was doing this weekend.
